 An Epic Wii Shooter!

| | See all Samladdy's reviews (20)

A truly awesome Wii first person shooter that offers hours of fun, single player is exciting, multiplayer is just about everything you need and Co-op Zombies is a special treat for all the fans. A brilliant port for Wii but I like to think of this as a port because it includes just about everything from the 360 and PS3 versions but it
only misses a few weapons and things.

Graphics arn't brilliant, servers can be laggy and at times it gets frustrating, but if your looking for a epic FPS for your Wii this year with one of the most awesome Multiplayers to date for Wii, this is your tittle.

Black Ops is the best Call of Duty game on the Wii full stop

I have been thinking about buying a Call Of Duty game for the Wii for some time now but whilst the others were very good they were also lacking something too. Black Ops is the game I have been waiting for because developer Treyarch having really gone out with all guns blazing this time. Producers Activision really have got the 1st person shoot-em up market for themsleves at the moment because they also released the equally fantastic Goldeneye recently too. It is well worth buying yourself a Wii Zapper which comes free with the enjoyable Link's Crossbow Training and can also be used for Goldeneye 007 and many other Wii shooters. The graphics are breath taking for a Wii game and one does get use to alot of Wii games being cartoon style graphics. This game contains strong language and bloody violence which is not suitable for people under the age of 15 even it does have a rating of 18. I saw the film Basic Instinct when I was only 14 years old and this did not effect me because I was mature in many ways part from the fact that I thought Sharon Stone was really hot etc. There are three fun ways to play this game which include the awesome single player campaign, excellent online multiplayer mode which works very well indeed and the fun co-op Zombies mode. Call Of Duty: Black Ops ticks all the right boxes and the only thing that is missing is a four player split screen deathmatch mode which would have been a right laugh with some mates and beer.

 I Love This Game!

I have owned the 360 and PS3 in the past but got rid of them and decided to game on my PC. As my PC is getting on a bit I ummed and arred and decided to try it on the Wii. I must admit I was a bit sceptical as whether it would be any good or not as I waited for it to load up. But man was I surprised, the graphics are the best I've seen on the Wii. OK they're not as polished as the HD consoles but are crisp and clear with nice textures the frame rate gets a bit choppy when the action really heats up but not so much as it is unplayable. It's good to see that Treyarch have included multiplayer and zombie mode. The campaign is very enjoyable and the story is good. No problem with the controls took me a bit to get used to but I now prefer them to a normal controller, If you have a TV thats compatible make sure you get the component cable to really appreciate the visuals. This game proves that the Wii can be a great system for the more serious gamer. GET IT BOUGHT!

treyarch hae done a great job porting this to the wii, at times it almost looks as good as the hd versions, the only thing missing is split screen but that is no big deal 10/10

Who needs sleep when you have Black Ops?

If you liked Black on ps2 then you'll be blown away with Black Ops. Total carnage from the start and a good selection of weapons.

What a ride!!!
