What a fantastic game! i could not wait to get this. A great update to the previous version with added bonus of online multiplayer. Great fun split screen, brings back memories. Good graphics, levels last ages. Going in guns blazing, or silent, completing the levels in stealth. cumon golden gun! paintball rules!

  Best Wii game so far.....

A brilliant remake and update of one of the most memorable games. The game play is brilliant, whichever way you decide to play it, and indeed there are many ways. My advice - buy it with the Gold Controller. It's easier to play and is shiney. However, during an excellent PaintBall multiplayer game with my partner (who is now HOOKED too) we played using the Wii Remote. This makes the most of the point and movement controls. Much harder to grasp but once you've got it you feel like you're even more within the game. All in all a fantastic game. Not just for the shoot-em-up professional but a game for all. BUY IT. No, really....Now!

Like many others i was a bit sceptical if this game would ruin the goldeneye era. After i played the first level i was blown away, took me back to the good old days of goldeneye. It should be noted that the game is not identical to the first goldeneye. But it is just as good with better graphics and online play.the levels are also much much longer with each one maybe takes 30 mins to complete with various checkpoints so you can save it halfway through a level. This goldeneye u have to be a bit more cautious as well as if you go out all guns blazing your certain to die with the amount of guards on patrol. An excellent game, and finally what may bring nintendo back to where it belongs!!!!!!!!!

What can I SAY. Just the best game of its time and which other games have copied ever since. Still as good now as it was then and the online mode is an added bonus. Best FPS ever.

Fantastic game that brings back great memories

From the very beginning its clear that Eurocom have taken a lot of effort to bring this game using the classic N64 game as a blueprint. Though the locations have stayed, they are now told in a new way, with different actors, weapons, gadgets taking place over the original. But the ultimate trump card is that of stealth, just like the original you will have to make a conscience choice of silence over guns blazing. My advice is to always get in close for a silent takedown as simple head shots can be quite difficult (even on the lowest difficulty) and usually require a number of well place shots to ensure no other guards hear you. In terms of control, this really is down to your own personal preference, i found the wii remote config "experienced 3" very similar to Medal of honor heroes & Metroid prime 3. Online multiplayer really outshines this time with only a few minor niggles (no wii speak + fiddly bounding boxes on split screen multi )

Overall this is a fantastic game for both old & new gamers that truly shows what the Wii is capable of and finally gives the system a 1st person shooter worthy of the highest honour. For once motion control feels just right !!!!
