Doctor Who: Sonic Screwdriver Wii Remote

This remote is awesome! it works perfectly with all my current Wii games and no need to buy replacement batteries. It comes with a small lead that means i can charge it directly off of my Wii console.

The quality and the finish of the product is fantastic and for a Dr Who fan like me its a dream come true! Highly recommended!

This remote charges from your wii's usb so requires no batteries...
but the best thing about it is the shape and weight. its comfortable to hold and grip and its very light which both combine make it a pleasure to use. As a functional control is excellent, its speaker can be tinny at times but that can be forgiven.
Whats more its a sonic screwdriver which for Who fans is excellent, i've often thought of getting a replica screwdriver but as they would just sit gathering dust haven't... this one however i can put to use!

Got this as a present, an apologetic one after the Dr Who game reviews came out, but there was no need to be, the Wii game may be terrible but this is a superb controller.

It's light and shaped well for pointer based games (I've been using it on Goldeneye and it feels great). Compared to the standard controller the D-pad seems larger and easier to hit.
The A button is a little lower than on the standard remote, however but still easy to reach.

The B button is incredibly responsive, again great for shooters. The plus and minus buttons are a little small and fiddly however.

Build quality is high and it charges directly for a USB cable, so unlike your standard remotes you don't have to buy batteries or a charging kit. The speaker also seems to be of slightly higher quality.

Plus it looks cool :) Avoid the game it was designed for but this is a superb choice so long as you're not wanting to use the motion plus (it can be inserted, but not clipped on so it could be knocked out, and looks a little weird).

The remote looks good but unfortunately the first one we received looked like it was charging but as soon as you took it off the USB charger it wouldn't synch so it was returned. We have now received a replacement but it has been charging for a couple of hours but appears to have no life at all! Think it may be heading back. My youngest son was over the moon to receive this from Santa but is hugely disappointed so far that he has been unable to play with it :-(

needed a new wii remote for my daughter , and as she is a massive dr who fan ummed and arred bout this one as was worried what would be like .
all can say is looks brilliant a nice size and such a bargain at under 10 quid.
also which is a bonus is packagings brilliant so makes item look cool even before you unwrap. packaged with it also is a grey strap and also a usb cable to recharge the built in battery.
cant tell u how long battery lastes etc what item works like etc etc as putting away for xmas.
but to anyone who looking for a wii remote and likes dr who you cant go wrong with this remote , in my view well grt value for money.
