Contoured to perfectly fit a player's hand, the Nunchuk controller builds on the simplicity of the Wii Remote controller and goes an extra step to meet the needs of gamers. The Nunchuk connects to the Wii Remote at its expansion port and is used in conjunction with the Wii Remote. The Nunchuk contains the same motion-sensing technology enabled in the Wii Remote but also includes an analog stick to assist in character movement. In several games, players will use the analog stick of the Nunchuk to move their characters and the Wii Remote to perform a specific action, whether that's throwing a pass in football or aiming a ranged weapon in an action game. Along with the analog stick, the motion-sensing Nunchuk also contains two buttons positioned for quick access. Because the Wii Remote and Nunchuk are only relatively dependent on each other, players are free to hold them in whichever hand is most comfortable. The ambidextrous nature of the Wii controllers grants accessibility seldom seen in game controllers.

Before i bought my wii, i thought that having extra controllers to 'plug' in to the wii remote would be weird and uncomfortable, but it is the total opposite! The nunchuk is so easy to use and fun aswell, as most games give the nunchuk special moves etc. So dont be put off buying a wii just because of the extra controllers! Buy a wii!

The nunchuk- the most deadly of controllers

Go to any games shop, play or anywhere else and these are usually out of stock. Why? Because some of the most popular Nintendo Wii games with a multiplayer feature need them.

I advise you to have at least two, or one or every remote. Most people think that it is far too much money for just an accessory, but the nunchuck has 3 axis motion just like the controller.

Costly and rare, the nunchuk is a Wii owners dream and nightmare.

Top 100 Games Reviewer

It's very light, it feels like it hollow. It has to be one of my favourite game controlelrs as it just fits in your hand very nicely.

Anyone who already has one may agree with me, that £15 is a little steep for just a Nunchuk, considering there there isn't much to it.

 Must have

I personally have 4 Wii remotes and 4 Wii Nunchuks, which I have so my friends and family can come over and play some multi-player games with me. Without one for each individual person, it's like just wearing one trainer and the other bare. It just doesn't look right without one connected to the Wii remote, so definitely get one for each set.

Also, I'd like to say as a quick tip to never buy Wii remotes or Nunchuks instore, as you can get them much cheaper (Like half the price) from independant companies on play.com or play.com themselves.
