This game isn't bad at all. If you remember the old turtles game on the nes, then this is essentially a 3d version of that. All the turtles use their weapons in different ways and all have their pro's and cons which is great. The biggest issue i had with the game is the lack of longevity, theres a few side games you can play but they're not particularly challenging either.
Pick this up as cheap as you can, but do pick it up. Particularly if you loved the old nes game like me.
The game tmnt is pretty good. You have good graphics good combos with the other turtles but then the repetitiveness kicks in the fights scenes with street thugs you execute the same moves over and over again i mean why not add more moves so the player does not get bored i other thing i noticed is that michelangelo does not fight that good with the nunchuks
Overall a pretty moderate game 3/5 stars
This game you should definately buy, Its a game which helps you to get used to the wii remote. The graphics are better than they look in the trailer. This was my first wii game and bought it simply for the price, i wasnt sure of it, but took a gamble and it paid off. Its a brilliant game and i would recommend it.
If you have never owned a turtles game before, you may find the idea of buying this exciting, just as I did. Once you get into playing this it becomes very boring, repetative and time consuming with little excitement. Each level lasts you at least 20mins to complete which involves climbing and flipping around the buildings, then fight situations which can last quite awhile. When fighting, there isn't any wii remote waving control for combos, you just move the remote and nunchuck in any direction rapidly to attack and you keep doing this to your enemies until the fight is over and you progress further. Flipping the remote/nunchuck as much as that can get very tiring as even more enemies appear in each fight. Make sure you keep the nunchuck held upright, otherwise your turtle will bend to try a charge attack and you cannot move. I would say this game would be ideal for younger kids (5-12) who find playing a basic turtles game very exciting.
