As non native speaker, I bought this game to improve my english. I found this game disappointing. I does get a bit better once you unlock new games, but its not worth more then 5 euros in my opinion.

  not for the young...

I bought this for my 4 1/2 year old son since it's age 3plus, but it is defintely not suitable for such a young age. There's so much reading involved - i can't imagine there's any kids his age capable of doing this. Only played it once with him where I was reading out loud to him but even then he couldn't assist so the playability and entertainment for him only lasted 10 minutes. Maybe it's designed to be used by parent/child together or for a child of at least 7 years.....not what I expected at all, On a positive note - glad it was only £8.99 so I don't really feel ripped off :)

This game is fine if you are not expecting too much and think if you paid £30 for this you may feel abit cheated!!

It is ok but nowhere near as good as brain academy. The whole look of it is basic and some of the games such as word cereal feels quite un-user friendly.

After a few games i found it abit tedious but it's fine if you've paid a tenner for it and like i said dont have too many high expectations!!

  An OK Game

I got this game free with my Wii console, and i am actually really liking it.
You create your own character, and have your own teacher. There are numerous word puzzles to play, and you unlock more as you get better. Some are really fun too, like word cereal.
It is also really good in that you tilt the wii remote to change options, and it is all really interactive.
Once you hit a certain score you get reassessed for improvement, (or not) and you have a word knowledge score/level. It is a similar concept to brain academy in that way.
It is a real good game for those who are competitive, and it does get addictive.
However, i don't think it is worth the price tag. I would wait for it to come down a bit in price, or buy it pre-owned.
My advice: buy it later.
