One and only complaint, you will need to remove any covers/sleeves from you remote so that it can slip into the docking recess to charge.
Sometimes you need to wiggle the remote to ensure that they dock correctly and the charging light activates as it is possible to drop them in on the wrist straps making the remote sit proud and not charge

I've never had a remote refuse to charge in 2 years.

Pros-
Have had mine since the wii was released 1st week. So 2 years then.
Never had a problem with it charging and still charging.
I sometimes do not use my wii for weeks due to work shift patterns and the remotes are always charged well and ready to go.

Excellent product holds charge long enough for when i do play to tire me out. I have bought these for friends and family with no bad experiences.

Would buy again.

Appalling. Doesn't work and broke Wiimotes...

Exactly the same problem as redskytezzer. Had for 1 year, not used that regularly. Charger no longer functions. One Wiimote completely dead and the other all but useless. Looks like that's £75 down the drain...

  No Problems, works fine

I've had mine for nearly a year now and have had no problems at all. The batteries seem to last ages - longer than other similar set-ups that I've seen other people using. It's saved me a fortune in batteries.

Excellent and Must-Have for the Wii!!

I bought this nearly a year ago (when it first came on Play), got it within a week (as always with Play), simply connect through Wii power connection (no need for a spare plug socket) and stick the rechargeable batteries in the Wiimotes.

I always leave the Wiimotes in the charging docks when I'm not using them, have had no problem with them at all, they are always fully charged whenever I play.

I would recommend this to every Wii owner, simply because it earns its cost back quickly saving on the batteries you don't need anymore!!

  yet another burn-out

| | See all redskytezzer's reviews (1)

two wiimotes now partially dead and just about useless......bought a new one and using NiMH rechargeables, all is fine. The Nintendo warranty is apparently invalidated by using other than NiMh batteries, so what about the Li-Ion in this power station ?

  Seems Fine to Me

I bought one of these a few months back, my controllers are still working fine, as is the charging station

The wiimotes also last ages on a single charge, which is very nice
It comes with 2 Li-Ion battery packs which are great, Li-Ion is a good technology - but normally quite expensive though
However, I think because they are small (3v @ 1100 mAh) its the reason they are quite cheap.

  A Must For Wii Games

My wife bought me the nyko station and was advised to take i straight back to the shop and get this one instead, so far so good, takes 5 hours to charge just like it says and the batteries seem to be lasting ages. nunchuck holders are a bit useless though and you have to take the skins up to charge the remote but thats the only reason i didnt give this 5 stars. Brilliant buy

I'v just read through the reviews and was surprised to see such negative feedback. I have had my Power Station since I bought my Wii over a year ago and it is still working perfectly, so much so that it has almost become part of the Wii, can't imagine being without it!
In fact I only stopped short of 5 stars because the Nunchuk stands are pretty much useless apart from providing extra stability.
I recommend but please read the other reviews too

Just bought a 3rd controller because one had stopped working. it lasted 4 days before that broke. been looking online to see if it might be something to do with the docking station. Looks like i've found the problem. KILLED 2 CONTROLLERS. AVOID!
