Review

Mario and Sonic set aside their lifelong rivalry and appear together in the same game for the first time ever!

In Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games, players will compete in events that take place in environments based on the official venues of the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games. Using a supporting cast of characters from the amazing worlds of both Mario and Sonic, gamers will be able to compete as or against a range of lovable personalities including Mario, Sonic, Luigi, Knuckles, Yoshi, Tails and more.

Innovative usage of the Wii control system to maneuver a favourite character will allow players to race the likes of Mario and Sonic down the 100m track, engage in exhilarating rallies in table tennis and churn water in a swimming heat, all while competing for the much sought after gold medal.

In my opinion this is one of the best wii titles yet - good graphics, good multiplayer options, good fun, and a good work out. In some of the events the controls are tricky but thats all part of a good game. A must-have for a wii collection 10/10

Customer rating: 3 out of 5 stars not bad

I've played game a few times but am struggling to get used to the controls and even with sore arms still can't win a race. I'm hopiong with practice it'll get better. Like the graphics tho and the variety of games.

I have to say i do like this game, but it no fun playing on your own, you really should play with your mates. You will laugh at how each of you move to perform the movements required.

Some events are very basic and easy to understand, but others take a bit of time to get use to, but it will be worth it.

I you like wii sports, (which i think everyone does) you should like this game.

Just one word of warning, be aware of your environment, i have broken a few things in the room already, and screwed up my hand many times... But hey its all for good fun ain't it
