Transformers: The Game

The Transformers movie was the best I've seen in a long time but the game did not live up to expectation. It seems to be badly thought out and rushed through to coincide with the launch of the film.

In this game you can choose to be Autobots or a Decepticons which is quite fun! However ...

Autobots are on Earth to help the humans therefore you loose lives every time you destroy anything in your vicinity. For example: If you are playing as the car or truck and drift around a sharp corner you invariably end up knocking over a lampost or two and therefore loose a life very easily.

When you play as Decepticons the game is really not well thought out. The first level is pretty straight forward. However the second level is so much harder it's laughable. Endless amounts of time are spent travelling from building to building to try and destroy them and in the meantime you are constantly being shot at by an army of tanks and helicopters with little chance of survival.

Basically I've given up on this game and you may well see mine up for sale soon... however, I have to say, you'd be mad to buy it off me!

transformers is an extremely good but hard game the missions at the start require patience and being able to cope with dying lots =P also the camera angle is not so good and the button which resets the camera angle doenst work so well. hope this helps =P

Great great game controls are easy to get use to. Its hard in some places but all the better gives you a challenge. I think this is a great game worth buying

pepole would of thought this would be a good game because of its movie but no! i think it is rubbish because every time i moved the camara went all over the palce and it was hard to see.And also you are giving hard missions right at the start of the game and little time to competle it!

this game really takes sum gettin used 2 cause the camera angles r a bit dogey but once ur used 2 tht it is all gd.ps i found the autobots easier.

OK, but the controls are annoying.
But overall a good game.

don't liste to any bad reviews this is an exelent game. the camera takes some getting used to but otherwise it's one of the best licensed games you can buy. with the choice of either the autobots or the decepticons to play as it's like 2 games in one, the levels are great as u can destroy building terorise neighborhoods and smash just about everything!!
the highlight of this game for me wa that the original megatron voice actor from the 80's is in it!!!!!!!!!!

If you've never played the Wii (or many other console games) before and you play this game, you'll probably like it, once you get the hang of the controls, because it's quite good fun, there's lots of things to smash and the environment is almost completely interactive. You can also mess around between missions, climbing around on buildings etc a la GTA but this novelty wears off pretty quickly.

However, if you're a regular gamer who also plays games on other platforms, this game is distinctly average. Graphics are ok, but seen far better. Longevity is non-existent. Storyline is dull and you really don't care about it. The controls aren't too hard to master, I didn't think, but even still they require more effort than should be required of what is essentially a run-around-smashing-things-up game.

The most important thing for me is that it's definitely not worth £40 or even £30, like so many games on the Wii. I got it for £25 and feel a little aggreived. Also, I reached the last mission as the Autobots, got bored and haven't played it since. That should tell you all you need to know about this game really.

This is simply the worst game I've played on for the Wii. The controls were useless and basically a waste of money.

Im soooo gutted with this game, The controls are useless. The gameplay is useless, everything is useless!!!
