  Boogie is brilliant

Boogie is a fantastic game. It's got really good graphics, and it's around £50.00. I love it when the characters do dancing with consoles. Boogie has different characters there is: Lea, Kato, Bubba, Jet and Julius. There are stories to complete with the gang. The shop: buy clothing, music and stages to perform on. Singing/dancing: sing really well you will get more points will get higher levels. Dancing will give you more choice of songs. Karaoke: sing your heart out in this mode that requires no dancing. Party: challenge a friend to dance off to see whose moves are most stylish. Record: record a music videos then show your friends.

  What a scream!!

Boogie is a great Karaoke style game with brilliant graphics and good gameplay that all the family can enjoy.
I especially like the songs and the way the game scores you on your singing and dancing performances as this makes it a Competitive game which creates more fun between the players.

This is a great game either to play on your own or with a group of friends. Me and my friends were crying laughing at each others dancing at our Boogie party, even my mum joined in!

  Good Fun

The game is great fun but can be played to death...I imagine if extension discs are brought out with more songs on it could be a game that would be a timeless classic for the wii

  Fun for all!

Basically a really fun game that I couldn't wait to play after I saw the advert on TV with the cool blob in a suit!
Great songs (love MC Hammer on it) and all ages can play together and have a laugh. You can show off if you can actually sing but if like me you can't it's still great fun!

a karaoke game that lets you belt out your favourite songs and scores you on how well you perform and to take things a step further with Boogie, by using the motion-sensing abilities of the console to track your movements so you can dance along, too.

this game is for young and older ppl, in fact you might have a fight on who has the mic next lol

After the initial 'is that it?' feeling after I first played it, I've gone back to it and found that actually the dancing is more involved than I first thought. Used it at a party the other night and it was a bit of a hit. I take people's point about the dodgy cover versions but at least the player's own singing has a chance of improving it! ;)
Shame you are only judged on dancing OR singing, not both simultaneously.
I also found the ticking from the Wii-mote to be more of a hinderance than a help, so killed the volume, it helped!
Overall, great for parties, but everyone needs to have a quick practice first.

  Hmmmm, well it's not Singstar

I got this game the other night and had a quick play on my own when I got it. I struggled to get a decent score on the dancing part, and the singing part was a bit easy to get a good score.

I agree with the comments here about the dancing being nothing related to what you are doing with the controller, which is a shame. But, the biggest disappointment for me is the songs, where Singstar on the PS2 has the original artists performing, the songs on this game are dodgy cover versions with bits of lyrics missing. The speed of the songs is a bit off too, and the way it scores you is not as in-depth as Singstar.

I had more fun with it tonight, but that's probably because I was playing it with other people and alcohol was involved.

Overall, I would say, its good enough fun for a party, but it's just not Singstar.

  party fun!

this is a party game plain and simple. not much fun playing on your own (and slightly sad if anyone is) but amazing fun with your mates. one person singing while the other makes the player dance is a giggle (even more so with alcohol added into the mix)
