 Big improvement needed

I am a big darts fan but the presentation of this game has a lot to improve upon to match an acutal pdc event. Gameplay is ok enough, generally averaging 110+ is quite easy to achieve, match results however depend on being clinical on doubles and taking out 100+ checkouts. The audience and background noise and sid's commentary all fall rather flat and need serious improvement for the next release. Controls once practiced are pretty easy to replicate but the com scores far too highly and makes the game slightly more difficult. I expect better next time.

 Better than the pub!

Definately the best game on the wii to date! The gameplay is brilliant and it's a very addictive game, once you've mastered the throwing technique!, and to top it off the voice of Sid Wadell, what more could a darts fan want!, listen out for, "the crowd couldn't be better looking, if they sold botox with the pie and peas!"

hi.seen some of the reviews given to the game and thought i should leave this.i do agree with some of the criticism aimed at the game like sid`s voice going on all the time and the controls are a nightmare to get used to i was going to sell the game after a few goes as i was getting a good hiding all the time but i stuck with it and now i love it..if you like darts and a few cans get your mates over and have a ball on the game the night will fly over trust me.

I was really looking forward to the release of this game. Graphics good (somewhat flattering!), controls challenging, gameplay interesting. If you like darts then this is a must but don't give up at your first attempt as the controls can be unforgiving. Holding the Wiimote like a dart the premise is to hold down the A button, pull back and then throw at your selected target point. The first couple of throws I thought I had mastered it immediately then 20 minutes in it all went to pot and the red lipstick remained undisturbed will single 20's were all I could hit. At one point I thought my wife was going to throw the remote through the TV in frustration. All the expected tournaments are included as well as all the usual darting suspects to choose from. There are some great mini games included that can both promote your accuracy and also entertain you along the way. Solid game!!

 Don't bother!

This game was a total let down. The controls are murder. Unless you are a die hard darts fan I wouldn't bother!
