Works fine. Blue light on/off isn't controlled by Wii.

In the other reviews, there seems to be some confusion about whether the thing will charge in standby or not (it will) and why it keeps flashing the red lights after you leave it on charge overnight (it usually means your batteries have charged).
The only thing I found disappointing about this charger is that the blue light on it is not controlled by the Wii - it doesn't come on when the Wii's blue light does, or when the Wii is switched on, as I'd expected (and as other reviews seemed to say it would do). Actually, it turns out that the blue light on the charger (and the built-in Wii stand) is just controlled by an on/off switch on the back of it. It doesn't come on unless you turn it on by hand, and it stays on when the Wii is put into standby unless you turn it off by hand.
Other than that, for ten quid I'm pretty happy with this charger - I'll update if I have any problems with it, but for now it seems to be working just fine.
Cheap and stylish

What more could you want? For only £10 this is a bargain. I've never had any problems with it. If you're thinking of buying a recharging stand for the Wii then look no further.
Works for me without any problems

I have had no problems with this product. Spent £10 on the stand and then another £10 on rechargeable batteries.
When finished using Wii remotes i just pop them into recharger and there ready to be used next time.
My wii is connected to wiiconnect so when i switch off my wii it still provides power to the charger.
poor

really poor piece of kit. Takes ages to charge, the wii needs to be on (comletely on, not just on stand-by) to charge, batteries are not included and cost loads.
good buy

This really is an essential purchase for Wii owners!!!It is awesome!!!The blue neon lights are so cool&when your Wii game slot starts flashing in the same neon blue colour(when you recieve a message via Wii connect24)it is a real eye catcher!!!Charges with no probs whatsoever!!!As other people have said, its common sense not to leave a charger on permanently!!!!!
great purchase

it is a great item to purchase for your wii it does its job and also is very stylish and looks really good with its neon lights its a definate purchase
Does what it's supposed to do.
Just don't leave it on all the time as it might overheat your wii etc. plus there's no need to have it on all the time.
