A visual feast, a vast amount of fun and a pretty good workout!

There's no denying that performing attacks such as the Kamehameha are a bit tricky to begin with, but after an hour or so you develop a feel for the game and its controls.

Unlike some other games whose highest difficulty mode doesn't present much of a challenge, this one is a true head splitter! Incredibly hard to say the very least! (Or perhaps my skills require more training - who knows?)

Aside from being crammed with tons of exhilarating fights spanning a broad range of Dragon Ball Z sagas, the extras provide a fabulous finishing touch. ChiChi's character commentary is not to be skipped by any devoted DBZ fan!

But what tops the game off is the attention to detail; all of the characters have been properly fleshed out. Their rich personalities add an excellent dynamic to the game and give it a genuine sense of authenticity.

Even if you aren't a DBZ fan, I strongly recommend this game to anybody looking for a real challenge!

My favourite fighting game on the Wii so far. If you're a fan of the anime you will love this game.

The only thing to comment on is that some of the saga's are a little bit short - they could have put more fights into the story mode to go along with what the anime did. However this still does not matter too much when the game is so good.

  Worth While

Great Visuals , Great Options , Not so Great Controls . When I played this the controls were very awkward . But What gave me hope is that you can use the classic controller (sold seperately)
Which is Great . Dragonball Z fans this is a must .

The cartoon was awesome, and so is this game!
Controls are creative, and responsive, and the game play is brilliant!

  A Very Good DBZ Game

This is a very good DBZ game and as a fan of the TV show the storyline is pretty close. The controls are very weird to get used to but after about an hour of trying out different methods its very addictive. This game doesn't really do much more than previous title's apart from online play. Still a good buy tho and it will really give you a workout in the final battles!

Best workout you can get from a fighting Wii Title

Other than Mario & Sonic Olympics this game is the best physical workout you can get for a Wii title. I'm still playing it now several weeks after buying it.
Not since the classic Snes Dragonball Z titles have I been so impressed with a Dragonball Z game. It works well as a Wii fighting game and responds really well to your movements and will give you an effective workout the harder it gets.
It's not as difficult as the game magazines make it out to be, the best thing to do is just experiment with the nunchuk controls until you find an effective way to battle.
The character lineup is the most impressive I've seen in a fighting game as well.
The only small complaint is the lag on the Net Battle Mode but saying that there is plenty to do on your own so you don't really need it.
So until the release of the new Smash Brothers game this is definitely the number one fighting game to keep you occupied.

It's an online DragonBall Z Game (DBZ)

| | See all Jimnon131190's reviews (7)

Well where to start, This game is Simple the best in the DragonBall Z series But the online mode...OUCH if the lagg wasn't so bad when you play online it would be a 5 star rating. The characters the same as the Budokai Tenkaichi 2 characters (with some news ones) This is pretty much like BT 2, if you don't have BT 2 and you would like a DBZ game I would recommend this but if you have BT 2 and are looking for a dragonball z game with online experience..Well I recommend waiting for the fourth.
