What a load of nonsense! As far as I remember from playing Spyro on the PS, it was all about solving puzzles and defeating the level boss. This game (as far as I can see) is just about fighting and using combos (reminds me of street-fighter or the picking-fights-with-zombie games). DON"T WASTE YOUR MONEY buying this!!
Very disappointed! If I could give this minus stars I would!!

being a big spyro fan, i was excited to find out they were releasing a spyro game on wii. what a load of rubbish! they have totally recreated the whole game and made it alot harder. for those of you who are big spyro fans, dont waste your money, the worst game in spyro history!

Only buy if you are a true spyro enthusiast

If you have played the spyro ps1 games and ps2 games and loved them this is no different still a great legend in gameing and hope it will be for a while. However if you haven't played any ps1 or ps2 spyro games than don't buy. There are many reasons for this 1.the graphics aren't advanced 2. the physics aren't advanced for third gen 3.the gameplay isn't third gen 4. this game isn't third gen just a remix from the ps2 one for more money. However as i say in the title if you love spyro you will love this because unlike some games it has stuck to its style throughout and isn't going to change unlike some games behind the very long complicated title is a great game to be discovered. However the enemys have become very difficult and is now a much harder game so 3 stars because it could go both ways.

  What has happened to Spyro?

I can't believe how much Spyro has changed, for the worse. You don't need melee attacks or elemental breaths. Just go back to basics and the classic Spyro. It works for Mario, why can't it work for Spyro? I'm not going to buy the next game if it's as bad as this... (oh and sparx talking... what's up with that?)

I had this bought for me.
loved spyro when i was a kid, but this game is just awful, awkward saving means your continually doing the same bit, and it was just an overall let down.

  An Old Favorite

I loved this game for the playstation when i was younger, so i had to buy it for the Wii. And i was not disappointed with it.
The good old Spyro is back on another adventure. It is fun, full of laughs, and great for all.
The Wii controls are good for this game, and you can control his fighting actions with the Wii movements. This adds to its good level of interactivity.
I have not finished this game yet, and have had it for a while, so it cannot be that easy to do.
My advice ... Buy this good old favorite.

  Really good

This game is absolutely excellent. It's a challenge, fun and really good for all the family to enjoy! But the reason I only gave it 4/5 stars is because the PS2 versions are alot better. But, it's worth the money and enjoy!
