You love it or you hate it, i love it!!!!, it has a very addictive gameplay, a good storyline and is unique. Ok the ps3 version is much better but this is a pretty good game for the wii, and at its price its definatley worth buying.

  Bad luck.

I bought this game at supermarket just after i got my wii. I didnt know anything about it but decided to give it a whirl. Bad idea. I dont think i'll ever buy another game without reviewing it online first. The controls are really hard to get used to and ive already given up on it for a while because im just not enjoying it.

Not only is this game one of the worst games on the wii it is easily right at the top of my worst games ever played list. Compared to the amazing quality of resident evil 4 its an absolute joke. I played through it and some parts are ok ish but the rest is very very poor, i took mine back to the shop very quickly. Avoid buying this game and wasting your dosh.

This is the worst game I have played on the wii so far. Having thoroughly enjoyed Resident Evil 4 and completed it on professional, it was time for a new challenge.

Unfortunately this game was traded in for around 8 quid after having a few goes of it, it's just a game you can not get into.

Go for RE4 as that is great value for money, we were playing it for months. Whereas we only got a few hours of play with this, and even though you can skip through the game like fast forwarding a DVD, there is nothing to make you come back again and again.

There are no redeeming features, the controls are not as fluid as RE4, half the time it's not obvious at all what your meant to be doing, we were stuck in a sewer roaming around for about two hours, now I may be against the grain here, but that's not entertainment.

This could have been a good game, but sadly, it's not at all. I wish Capcom had made this game, it would have been playable. No wonder Atari are'nt the giants they once were.

Ok i admit that the drivering controls are rubbish on the wii for this game but in all i feel that its a very good game. Very addictive, granted the graphics are more like ps2 but the cut scenes are still top notch. I loves it i do!!!!

The Wii has an astonishing selection of casual games that are great fun to play, but games that you can really get into are a little more thin on the ground. So, having really enjoyed "Resident Evil 4" and "Tomb Raider Anniversary", I bought this game hoping for more of the same from "Alone in the Dark" - a good, immersive game with an interesting story.

I was disappointed. Badly.

First off, let me just say that the graphics are ok. Not spectacular, but ok. That said graphics aren't that important to me. As long as the gameplay is interesting, the graphics are of secondary importance. This game, however, doesn't offer anything other than irritation and incredibly fiddly controls. Half the time you don't have a clue what is going on because the game keeps interfering with your field of view (blurring the screen, making you blink etc) and the control system really is the most atrocious thing ever.

The best thing I can think to say about this game is that it is about to manage a distinction of sorts - it will soon become the first Wii game that I own that will be traded in. Do yourself a favour and buy something else.
