This game isnt bad at all! Lots of games to play especially good if theres a few of you to play against each other. Only thing against it is that a lot of the games are quite short to play you can be just getting into it then it finishes! Other then that its good!
Favourite mini-game collection ever

This collection of mini-games themed around funfair sideshows has something for everyone. from duck-shooting for the precise to test-your-strength for the energetic.
With so many games you'd be hard-put not to find some that you like, and the simple and quick nature of them means that you can play for a few minutes or a decent session.
The prizes you get for good scores give you tickets to kit out your character, and there are unlockable prizes in many of the games.
Some of the prizes are hilarious in themselves - the rapping giraffe is my favourite.
What the Wii is for.
Wii carnival - great game for the kids

After reading all of the reviews i decided to buy this. I'm glad i did as it is our kids favourite game. OK the games are fairly simple to play for adults but great family fun. Also great when playing at a party after a few shandies!
The only problem that we have found is with multiplayer mode. When you click on certain areas of play the wii crashes. If you play single player then all is fine.
Poor gameplay and badly designed. A missed opportunity.

Top 100 Games Reviewer
As a concept, carnival is a great idea as it has many different games with which to test your skill to various levels and seems to take full advantage of the wii remote (swinging, shaking, rocking etc). The reality however is that most of these games are either poorly designed so that they are either too easy or just not very interesting to play, or so random that they become frustrating within a short space of time.
There are different areas you can go to such as Rodent Row or Lovers Lane, and each of these areas have different games. The trouble comes when you actually start playing the games (which is worrying) and you realise just how short they are. For example bowler coaster gives you three bowling balls which you have to spin, release on an undulating pair of wires and make them stop in a safe area (which changes every time). But this is very easy to master and does become tiresome very quickly.
So are they any good games, well only a couple really of any note one being duck shoot which again could be better but is probably the most satisfying of the lot, and I can't remember the other one but I'm not going to play it again to find out.
You can unlock a couple of extra games per area which are really slightly harder versions of some of the games you've played already in that area, but this does really add much and aren't really that great. As usually for these type of games there are also extra clothes, toys and treats to unlock, but these are really not worth it either because what is the point of unlocking a virtual teddy bear.
Probably the best aspect of the game is the multiplier mode which at least offers you a bit of a challenge in that you have to score more points over your opponent over 5 games. However because the games are so poorly designed the challenge sometimes can be scoring any points.
Ultimately this is a missed opportunity and you would be better off sticking with Wii Games or, if you prefer sports games, the much superior Mario and Sonic at the Olympics which has loads of very challenging and varying games which will last you a very long time indeed.

Absolute pants!! What a waste of money. I bought this on the basis of Play reviews and wished I hadn't bothered. Games are amatuerish and play is stilted with no flow. No challenge at all. Save your pennies!!
Wicked fun

This is the sort of game thats brilliant when uve had a few friends over for a drink. But saying that its still great fun when sober. The games are quite short but has made me so competitive against my boyfriend! Not the best graphics but good fun.
OK

This game is good for its price, the games are funny, some of them hard some of them easy, you dont really get much out of it though, a few funny prizes and thats it. But for a quick play at a party or with family its a brilliant game!
One star too high a rating...

We recently bought this game on the basis of most of the shining reviews from previous players on Play... to our cost!
The game has poor graphics and infuriating background music throughout. The activites themselves seem to require no actual skill and are unimaginative.
This game had so much potential but did not meet expectations at all.
If you are looking for an activity game that is better suited to the Wii, you will find it in Wii Sports and Mario and Sonic at the Olympics - fun guaranteed!!
Pointless

I was looking forward to playing this game but found it boring, slow hard to control and limited. It has very few games to actually play for the price as they are all short games, your money and mine would be better spent elsewhere.
