The graphics are outstanding. I was really impressed. I feel this game is not a pick up and play. The controls are hard to get used to but when you do this turns into a great game. You will love smashing the ball for miles. A great buy at that price.

  FANTASTIC!!!!!

I got this game for my birthday and when you get a power blast it's brilliant because you actually hit it for miles. The graphies are nice and crisp and the players are more life like than the wii sports. I would really recommend this game to you.

  Fantastic, great fun

hard to get used to the controls at the start, and seems a waste but as you play on it becomes really good fun.

the one thing is that unrealistic catches from the opposing team seem to happen quite alot, very annoying, especially when its goin for a home run!

  fantastic!!!!!!!

Just so you know im not a fan of baseball, however i got this because of Wii Sports-Baseball, i dont have Wii sports which is a shame its gd family fun, but if u do like Wii sports-Baseball but want a more in depth experiance this is the game for you, the character graphics is brill for the wii, video footage when going into the stadium is scary as ur thinking 'oh the graphics suck' but that is really the only time that they do suck and then it doesnt matter, the game is fun, and more indepth than than Wii sports-Baseball. a good buy for the Wii.

If you like baseball, you'll like The Bigs!!! Everyone going on about the twitchiness of this game doesn't really know what it's all about - that's baseball, it's a game of quick reactions and split second timing. Once you get to grips with the controls is just a matter of concentrating on what you want to do with the player and the ball. Pitching is a dream when your in the groove and it's all about timing when batting. I'm definately not disappointed with my purchase and would encourage enthusiasts of the game to do the same!

  Well worth 25 quid

ok this will be a quickie as i gotta run to work, i've read some mixed reviews about this game and wasnt sure what to expect but knew i would buy it either way cause lets face it we dont get much, if any choice when it comes to baseball games here in the UK.
when i first put it on and started playing i found myself getting highly agitated with the awkward fielding controls (you're told to strike the remote in the direction of whatever base you want to throw to, which isnt very responsive at all), so i read the manual to discover you can simply use the direction pad to throw to bases, much easier, i'm still not entirely decided on the catching the ball aspect of fielding, it seems you're players can never get to the ball and when they do they never catch the thing but i'm sure with more play i'll get better at this (only had the game 2 hours so far)
all in all i'm really enjoying the game so far and look forward to getting into the rookie season mode to see what that has to offer, it should also be great fun with a couple of friends over and a beer or two as i plan on doing tonight.
for the wii's first baseball outing (wii sports aside) i'd highly recomend it to fellow fans of the sport, if you're not a fan you may find the learning curve a bit too much to put up with for a simple mess around.
anyway, 4/5 from me though i know my arms gonna be killing me in the morning.
