It's June 6th, 1944, and the war is far from over. Step into the boots of OSS Operative John Berg and infiltrate Normandy from behind enemy lines to undermine the Nazi regime. As a special agent of the Office of Strategic Services, you must use tactics of combat, infiltration, assassination, reconnaissance and sabotage to carry out the covert operations that will help defeat the Nazi war machine once and for all.

Designed from the ground up for the Nintendo Wii, Medal of Honor: Heroes 2 will be the first game on the Nintendo Wii to feature 32-player online multiplayer. Choose to tackle all-new missions in traditional single player campaign, or engage in an all new Arcade Mode built specifically for Nintendo Wii. Featuring innovative combat controls and gestures built specifically for the Wii, plus full support of the Nintendo's Wii Zapper, Medal of Honor: Heroes 2 puts all the action of WWII into your hands.

Pick up and Play Action: All-new Arcade Mode built specifically for Nintendo Wii allows gamers of all skill levels to pick up the Wii Zapper and Wii Remote and jump into the action. Let the Wii move you around while you focus on the most fun part - shooting and gesturing.

First ever 32-player Multiplayer on Wii: Jump into the epic 32-person multiplayer action at any time, in three different multiplayer modes across six maps.

Take the War Into Your Hands: The WWII experience is more immersive than ever with controls built for the Nintendo Wii that allow you to carry out your top secret OSS objectives. Fire a bazooka, pump a shotgun, blast away with artillery and mortar, throw grenades and fire an arsenal of weapons with the power of the Wii. Maneuver across minefields, find and tune enemy radios to receive intel, and set demolition charges using unique Wii gestures.

If you asked me to give this a rating out of 100, i would say 88.

When i first played this game i knew it would be great, and i was right. Many people were worried that this was just a copy of the version on PSP, but i promise you, it is not.

The single player mode has you doing all sorts, from using a sniper, to using a rocket lancher to blow up fuel tanks (which to use you must place the Wii remote backwards on your sholder and then aim)and even going in toe to toe combat with the German army.

The best part of this game has to be the online mode. It can have 32 players per match, you can chose your wepons, uniform and the works! The online matches don't lagg, and work incredibly well, and are 10 times the fun when playing with mates.

Fantastic FPS for single AND multi-player

I have been looking forward to getting this game for over half a year, and was disappointed to find it's release date delayed till Feb 08 (was planned for 07 release in UK). However, it is here now, and it is brilliant. Firstly the 2 negatives. The AI is not the best ever, but not as bad as the reviews are making out either. It is all too easy to creep up on Axis soldiers, and sometimes they will stand right in front of you shooting in another direction (but that is rare). However, one time I noticed a soldier attempt to throw a grenade back at me before it blew him up, and one time I threw one they ran and hid in another room till after it exploded, so it isn't too bad. The other downer is SOME of the graphics. They are mostly great, but close up you tend to notice VERY blurry textures and lack of textures themselves in places too. One good instance of this is the start of the city level. If you turn around to the truck behind you and look at it's tyre, it is almost hexagonal in shape, and the texture of the wheel is just one big smudge. Poor. Okay, the good points now. The graphics in general are very good for the Wii, and graphics at a distance are very detailed. There is a long draw distance- in fact, in certain areas of a mission you can virtually see the whole map. Control is perfect as you can change everything regarding aiming sensitivity to your liking. Gameplay, other than dodgy AI is superb. You have quiet moments, and you have frenetic moments, and all of it is great fun. There are plenty of checkpoints to keep you moving forward when it gets tougher later on. There are eight missions in all, and all bar the first take quite a while to complete. Even once you finish the game, there are secrets to find to get 100% in each, and medals to earn too, so there is plenty of replay value. Then there is the ONLINE multiplayer. Wow. Up to 30+ players online at a time in Death Match, Team Death Match, or Capture The Flag. This is exactly what the Wii needed since it's launch. Superb.

I'm not keen on war games myself, but my neibour let me borrow this game...And I found that it was excellent, so I ordered it asap...With a Wii gun, it makes you feel like you are there yourself...ITS PURE BRILLIANCE, Amazing

A good game on the Wii

Well this game is probably the hardest game to review that I have played yet.

The Wii disappointed what are described as "hard core" gamers since it's release. Red steel was dire, Call of Duty virtually uncontrollable and Far Cry bin worthy.

    Graphically Heroes score and fails.

    1. It has the best graphics I has seen yet on the Wii with the only exception being Resi 4 (a game cube game????)

    2. The Wii has out dated graphics capability, so the designers have done well.

    Game Play.

Well, it's your standard Medal of Honour or COD game. It won't win any awards. However, it is certainly playable. Weapons are a touch week though, especially the shot gun, you shoot and shoot and they still come at you.

At last, a game that uses the Wii mote to it's potential. You can run and gun just as you expect to. Point and shoot with Wii mote, move and side step with Nunchuck. Simple and working.

Grenades are a touch dodgy, maybe that you need to practice. The Bazooka works by you holding the Wii mote over you shoulder, odd but it seems to work. And shot guns, you operate the pump action with the Nunchuck by shacking it. Doesn't work to well and the fact that shot guns are quite ineffective just add to your frustration.

Sniping isn't bad though, again once you get used to it. Your raise the scope with the "A" button then you adjust the depth of zoom by twisted you Wii mote hand from side to side. And you can lock to amount of zoom with the "C" button. And the rifle appear to hit quite hard. So not bad.

As mentioned is you standard FPS Medal or COD game. Nothing new, but playable and of interest to Wii owners. If you had this game on the 360 or PS3 you wouldn't bother. But on the Wii, it's OK.

    Online Play.

This works and works well. Which I have to say surprised me. You do tend to see players running around in a big circle attempting to shoot each other, sometime 3 or four players in one circle. Again I think the ineffective weapons account for this, and shot guns again demonstrate this point. I was in one such circle with 3 others all blasting away, and we went on and on until we ran out of ammo and had to melee each other or run for it. Odd....

All in all, if you want a serious FPS and not some cobbled sports game or family crap that tends to come out on the Wii , then this is probably the game to get along with Resident Evil 4 (however Resi 4 is the one to get).

But if like me you own PC, 360 or PS3 then save your money.
