The Star Wars saga will continue in Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, a videogame developed by LucasArts, which casts players as Darth Vader's "Secret Apprentice" and promises to unveil new revelations about the Star Wars galaxy. The expansive story, created under direction from George Lucas, is set during the largely unexplored era between Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith and Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope. In it, players will assist the iconic villain in his quest to rid the universe of Jedi - and face decisions that could change the course of their destiny.

 Impressive.

This is what the wii needs at the moment a decent adventure action game. Based between the 3rd and 4th movie, u play as Darth Vaders Evil apprentice. The game uses an immense physics engine to give you the real feel of weilding the force. Please buy Star Wars The Force Unleashed for the wii, we need developers to make more mature titles for the console. The game is excellent and you wont go wrong with only paying £29.99 for it. The wii remote is used for both ur motion and force powers via the nunckuck. Jab, Swipe and Throw your lightsabre with motions of the remote. I cant recommend this enough.

Fun and Engaging, a Must Byu for Star Wars Fans

Excellent game, really a recommended purchase for every Star Wars -loving Wii owner! The gameplay and engaging story make up for some PS2-level, non-textured graphics in some of the cutscenes. In-game graphics are fine, even beautiful in many places, and the physics work really well. It is so fun to toss stormtroopers and around with a flick of a nunchuck. Boss battles feel epic, from roque jedis to sith lords and junk behemonts. The story moves on with intense pace and there are nice suprises behind every corner.

Some of the "professional" reviews forget to mention Wii-specific duel mode. Fun with a friend and extra nunchuck, but sadly the duel mode always needs two human players.

Camera works mostly well, and you can always clear some space by jumping and using the Force. Some reviews whine about camera also, but so far I haven't had any mentionable problems with it, and I'm not a 24/7 gamer.

The age rating is mysteriously high, there's no blood or gore and enemies are mostly non-human fantasy figures. Yes, the theme is dark, but come on, 16+?

The main point is, that I REALLY dig the Wii control method for this game. At one point I yanked the nunchuck chord off the wiimote as I was so in to the game and tried to perform a Force Maelstorm -move as the character does it, by throwing hands straight to the left and right. There is no going back to sitting on the couch with a classics controller after getting a lightsaber in your right hand and force powers in your left!

By all means It's not a perfect game, such as Super Mario Galaxy or The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, but the intense fun factor and fan service make up the 5-star rating!

 Good but not great

I will start off by saying this is worth buying if you have a Wii and no PS3. However, the camera angles can be frustrating at times, with my character getting killed because he is facing the wrong way.

The game is good fun and as a Star Wars fan the storyline is great. The controls are ok (lightsaber is great) but they could have been better. I imagined throwing stormtroopers around by waving my hands like a crazed sorcerer. (That would have been great)

 Best star wars game EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is easy but the longness of the game makes up for that, fantastic force powers, no way should be a 16!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ONE OF THE BEST SW GAMES EVER

Being a die-hard starwars film fan, im also one that has played almost every starwars game ever! Having played the classics such as dark forces, tie fighter and rogue squadron, i can honestly say, that this is one of the best games created in ages!! Heres a break down:

Gameplay : The wiimote and nunchuck provide the definitive experience, force powers couldn't be better to control. Completely natural. No 1-to-1 control of the lightsaber, means 9/10
Graphics: Not too bad, but not great either. Ps2 visuals, could be better. 7/10
Music: Great soundtracks from the films and classic games, brilliant. 10/10
Longetivity: Loads of unlockables, concept art, costumes. Also with a 2 player mode, exclusive to the wii, makes this essential 9/10

This game is great, and deserves to me bought immediately. You wont regret it! Overall 9/10 (rounded to 5stars)
