One of the best wii games yet

I have owned a wii fit for over a year now. I have rated it on many other websites and i will just tell you what i said on them. The game itself if very useful and enjoyable. It is fun yet great for exercise.

The wii fit board is substantial and compact. It is not the ugliest thing in the world yet not the prettiest. It fits just about anywhere you put it. The only thing is is that it uses batteries like a trooper. So it is advisable to buy rechargable ones.

This is soo fun to play, especially with friends, attempting to beat each others scores is a great laugh. Get fit and have fun at the same time. Brilliant.

Mixed opinions in our house !

I brought this for the wife as she wanted it for her Bday. If she was writing this review it would get 5 star. My daughter and two boys would give it 4 but as I'm writing the review it gets 3. I don't think it's bad but it's not for me. And thats the thing with wii fit it's not going to be everybodys cup of tea. I can't be done with yoga and muscle workouts I just play the mini games, and there are not enough of these. I am impressed though with how long the batteries in the board last and maybe when wii fit 2 or plus comes out it may give me a reason to get it out. As I said at the begining my wife loves it and for her it's worth 5 stars.

Wii Fit is perfect for someone who is lazy, could lose weight or spomeone who wants to stay active without the gym. For only £60 it is a must have for the wii. The first thing you do is register your mii and tell them your height, age etc. The wii balance board measures your weight so your bmi is calculated. It tells you whether you are too fat, thin or just right. You have to make a goal for yourself and you are given tips every time you 'log on'. There are 4 different sections to the game. These are Yoga, Muscle workouts, aerobic exercises and balance games. For every minute you spend on one of the activities, you get a 'coin; put into your fitpiggy which keeps adding up. The recommened time on the game everyday is 30 minutes. I wont tell you anymore about the game because ill spoil it.

This game is one of Nintendo's best and is very clever and inventive. It gets everyone up off their seats and also shows you how fat or thin you are.

I have two problems with it though, the first is I don't think the game itself helps you lose weight, it gives you the confidence and inspiration to lose weight, I sometimes spend an hour on it and not be out of breath and i'm very lazy. The second is the price, the game itself is worth £30, i don't think the balance board is worth £40 though, if the board was £20-£30 then I would recommend it to others but I do think it's a little on the expensive side.

  Lazy Girl's Review.

Okay, I am a total sloth. I eat far too much and I'm allergic to exercise.
I got this as a present from my Mum for my birthday, which I was quite happy about because I'd seen it advertised and it looked pretty good!

I'm always trying new ways to get exercise.
I say I'm going to start going to the gym regularly, so I go once then don't go back for 6 months.
I say I'm going to try a new workout dvd. I do it once then get bored, so I don't go back to it until New Year (after the pounds have really piled on!).
So, although I was excited about this new "exercise opportunity", I had the feeling I might get bored quickly or lose interest as I did with the others.

But NO! It's amazing. It's so fun it doesn't even feel like your exercising. And it calculates your BMI + your weight perfectly. I'll never use my crappy scales again!

It has different parts, there is Yoga, which is great for improving your posture. It shows you which muscles you are using and what it'll help to do, by showing diagrams and giving tutorials.
Muscle exercises are shown similar to Yoga. Although, I haven't tried any of the muscle workouts yet as I still want to burn a lot more.

There's Aerobic Exercise which is my favourite, best for burning calories! My favourite games in this are Step Aerobics, and Super Hula Hooping.

There's also Balance. Which helps improve your posture by giving you balancing games. Oh, and I forgot to mention, Wii Fit also calculates your COG (Centre Of Gravity) to see how evenly distributed your body is, because if it isn't even it can lead to putting more weight on, on one side of your body.

And as you improve your scores on games, and expand your times you unlock new games in each categories so there's always something new.

This is worth every penny. You won't regret it. Whittle away the weight in weeks. Seriously!!
Although, if you're a hardcorde gym-goer or are into exercise in a very big way, this might feel a little amateur for you?

I really like the wii fit game; it`s great if you wanna get fit, much better than work out dvds :)
some of the games include: hula hoop, walking a rope, skiing, ski jump, yoga, balance games etc
however if you only want this for gaming then you might find the wii fit game gets boring soon, if so you might wanna buy some games that are compatable with the board when you get it,
overall brill for just £70 :)
