Official Nintendo Wii Wheel

You get a free Wii Wheel with Mario Kart Wii so that is ideal for playing. Young kids will love the wheel as its easy to hold. You can get an official Wii Wheel at half the price elsewhere. I was very suprised to see the wheel at this price, especially here at Play.com

The Wii Wheel is a brilliant addition to the Mario Kart Wii package and adds a new dimension to the gameplay. Also, it is highly ergonomic and feels great in your hands. The 'B' button fits into the back to allow you to drift easily.

On the other hand, all it really does is provide a cover for the Wii Remote. You can easily play the game by tilting the Wii Remote as you would the wheel, so it's probably not worth shelling out on another in addition to the one you get with MK Wii.

I was impressed with the Wii Wheel. I played it with Excite Truck and found it easier to drive the trucks.
And for the price as well it's the cheapest accessory on the Wii Market Place, so for any racing game it's a good buy.

The wheel for mario kart is great, lot of fun, great for kids and adults too. Much more fun than using the wii mote and the nunchuck, but not quite as easy! worth having though.
|The official wii wheel is far better than the third party ones that are being sold as it has the button on the back for firing weapons. (and usually is the same price!!!) so I would really recommend buying the official one. Be careful as some sellers are advertising the official wheel but that isn't what they are actually selling, and I had a bad experience with this as the photo ad the description wasn't of what was sent to me!
But if you can get the official one then its well worth it!
