10/10. 100/100. A+++++++. Perfect.
Played for hours on end and had one eagle and 6 birdies in a row. So don't worry about people saying you cant putt or don't understand or unrealistic, as i understood and done it on first go.
Just remember all your doing is working out the distance and putting at the correct metre % on the bar. Its basically no different to other versions, but having to actually swing the remote perfect makes it 10 times better.
Don't wait, just buy it and have fun on your own or with a friend/s.

  First class golfing

I bought Tiger Woods having not read a review (though I briefly saw the 360 version in our local Game store). Whilst the Wii version is not as graphically polished as the 360 title it does a sterling job visually. The control system is excellent and the depth is spot on. Whilst some complained about the putting model (swinging like you would a normal club) I don't see this as a real issue - if you want to swing a putter properly go play a round of golf! The single player mode is excellent - I haven't played multiplayer or online yet.
I would not hesitate in recommending this title to anyone who likes golf games and who has been waiting for a really good golf game on the wii,

  5 stars all the way

I have recently bought this game, while the swing and putting have changed slightly,it gives you a whole lot better golfing experience than older versions of the is game. People comment on the putting being poor and not user friendly, i found it to be easy to adapt to and manage to sink most of my putts. If i had to pick a fault is that the putt preview is only available once when lining up a putt. The graphics are second to none and the characters are very real like. The addition of the online play is a great welcome. All Tiger Woods fans will love this game and all in all a great game.

  Quality Game!

This is a vast improvement over the last game. Better graphics (by far) and better controls. All-in-all, a must for any golf fans.

If you have ever played a Tiger Woods game then you know what to expect.....this game is much bigger than any previous TW title, loads of side games and fun stuff aswell as huge PGA tour modes and challenge Tiger.A veteran player will not need the "ALL PLAY" mode but it does mean that Anyone can join in and sort of keep up with a pro.
Using the Wiimote to swing is really effective and responds well.
I give this game 10 out of 10,a must for any Wii owner.

  Online is a must

I have purchased all the Tiger woods games since the original and this is by far the most addictive. The putting does take a bit of getting used to but if you turn on the all star option it will give you some guidance till you get used to it, the online option is a must for anybody up for a challenge.

a great tiger woods game for wii at last..!!

Finally ea seem to have sorted out a great tiger game for the wii.. H aving bought the 07 version, i didnt bother with the 08 version, but 09 is certainly nearly there as a perfect golf game..there is the odd shot that goes astray, but thats golf im afraid,,putting at first is a bit strange, but after 3-4 rounds you will of sorted it out, online too is great, played a4 ball other day, and it's great fun watching other peoples shot's flying around ya..get this game if u like golf, it might take a couple of rounds to get used to the new golf engine, but after that you'll just wanna keep on playing..p.s.. Even the half shots are easier to do,i dont even practice now..lol

This game is the best golf game out at the moment.

  be patient with putting...

As with most people reading the reviews I was a little concerned that the "putting" element of the game might be it's downfall, however it really is not that tough to master. At first it will seem like you have to take a full swing to whack a tiny putt but that's due to the default mode of the putter, you can change the strength of your putt to bring back a more "natural" feel for putting, but on the first couple of goes you won't quite work out how to do this. Once you have though the game loses the frustration concerned with it. There is just so much to do and the online play is fabulous, it's just so quick to play someone else and if you have 20 minutes to spare then you can just about get a full round in. I have no doubt that this is a game that most will come back to time after time and surely it's this longevity that makes the game worth the price that you pay for it. If I can just work out how to switch off the female American commentator permenantly then I'd be a happy bunny...

Party mode not for 'decent parties'

I love having 'wii' party nites and this one is bit too boring, and the ball battles are annoying, Game play is good, putting annoying, but I don't really like golf tho i did love tiger wood on the playstation.
