Wow THQ realised that last year's release was an epic failure and renowned as the worst game of 2007 on the Wii.
The game has recieved a major overhaul and is very similar to PS2.
I'm not going to write a full review - because i want to go and play this more!
No flaws - however there is no Downloadable content - but there are wrestlers to be unlocked via cheat codes.
Online play is awesome!
Can't wait for 2010 to sort out 2009's mistakes.
No create-a-finisher though :(
This game is fantastic in comparison to last years version which was pathetic. The game-modes and extras are phoneminal compared to SVR 08, and the gameplay is better also! I really would reccomend. Only reason it doesn't have 5 stars is because, in comparison to the X box version, there are less features. But only minor ones!!
I know that lasts years game had limited amount of match types - I also know that they have added new ones to the 2009 version so I just wanted to know all the match types on the new game on wii.
All the reviews I've read say the controls are hard to get used to but me and my brother had no trouble getting to grips with them, and were fighting on "Legend" difficulty in no time. ALOT better than the 2008 version, this game has alot wider variety of matches and the even when you complete the "Road To Wrestlemania" mode you can fight to boost your superstars abilities. There's always something to do, and it's a great game to just pick up and play.
If you're a big wrestling fan you'll want the latest version for the updated rosters but if you just want a good fighting game, you cant go wrong with this one.
The interactive entrance sequences are amazing!!! With the wii style of play you feel like you are really in the fight!!
Also love the abuse and interaction between the superstars and crowd!!
