  Best football game so far.

After mastering the original PES on wii, there were things that needed sorting out. For the most part they have done this, the defence is better as is the control of penalties.
However even though they say the shooting is better, it isn't. Yes you can aim, but it is the same button as pass, so if it isn't right it doesn't work.

The addition of master league is great and adds more to do as there was not much depth in the old one.

Although there have been good improvements there is still work to be done, namely shooting. Also the AI is still pathetic, I beat Inter 11-1 over two legs without trying, on the hardest difficulty. A few more improvements and it will be the best football game ever, but for now its the best on the meerkat

  beats every football game imo

This is an amazing game. It is much better than PES 2008 with plenty more to do and the graphics are better aswell. One of the best football games I have played. Although the graphics are not as good as on Xbox 360 and PS3 they are good for the standard of the Wii. Champions road is much better and the master league and champions league are very good aswell. All in all I think that alot more thought has been put into the development of PES 2009 than PES 2008 and that is why I rate this game a 5 star.

  Almost Perfect!

Theres not much i can say apart from this IS the best football game money can buy. The only problem im having is laggin with the online mode, but i think that could be because i dont have a strong connection, although my wireless internet shows a 5/5 bar connection. Who knows?

  Forget PS3, forget FIFA 09

After being dissapointed with PES2009 on PS3 and also not being able to get into FIFA 09 also on PS3 I got this along with the classic controller. WOW!! this is the best football you can play, PES at it's best. Konami have suffered since moving to next ge but this game plays just like all you old PES fans would want it to. The Champions League has a great feel to it. The graphics may not be as flash as PS3 but this beauty is all about gameplay. It uses the old PS2 engine and plays so much better for it. Must admit I can't get to grips with the wii control system so opted for "classic controller" and it plays a dream. Well done Konami
Anyone want to buy a mint PES2009 and also FIFA 09 for PS3??lol

Great game with improved controls+superb wii visuals!!

Pro Evo has long been the players choice over Fifa, much cleverer and more detail to the real thing.
This new Pro Evo on wii now allows players to use the classic controller if they cannot come to terms with the point and drag system introduced in the last installment. I find this particularly useful as i use the classic controller myself and its very easy to use with this game as it was with Fifa.
This Pro Evo has bundles over Fifa All Play though, okay maybe it doesnt have the games for the younger family members, but its essential for the hardcore footie fans who wont be impressed with Fifas poor graphics and lack of in depth realism regards playability.

A great game for the wii, i had this on PS3 and this only loses out on graphics but for the wii they are excellent!!
