  Rock Band rocks big time!

The Rock Band games are easier to play then the Guitar Hero games which makes them better for families to enjoy together. I love screaming along to Wanted Dead Or Alive by Bon Jovi and Enter Sandman by Metallica. My dad enjoys jamming to Gimme Shelter by The Rolling Stones and Won't Be Fooled Again by The Who. If you have three people playing together at the same time then the fun is endless. Please note that the Guitar Hero instruments won't work with this game but EA have fixed this for the superior Rock Band 2 and Beatles Rock Band which both have the additionl online content too unlike this game. Still Rock Band has the most amazing rock songs and is worth having.

Not exactly what it says on the tin...

In fact - there is NO online gameplay and NO customisable rockers...

BUT

Still brilliant fun! For those looking for something to fill the void while GH:IV comes out, this should do it.

Best part for me is the drums. Rock Band is the first game to bring the drum kit out (although to be honest, Guitar Hero 4's looks better), so i'm spending my time kicking out the jams.
The guitar is slightly different - you can throw on custom effects like chorus or echo, and you can play higher up the neck which really only serves to look like you're soloing proper. I found the guitar buttons way more sensetive than guitar hero's, but in time i'm bound to get used to it.

I haven't played it too much with other people but i've found rocking out on the drums is so much fun I don't particularly care!!

The information says 'Rock 'n' Roll Never Dies! Supports downloadable content for never-ending challenges' I'm not sure this is true? I know it is for the ps3 and xbox but Im quite sure you have to buy expansion packs for the wii... so is that info wrong or am I wrong?
