I snapped up this game a while back when i had my Wii, and it is Fabulous. I haven't played any other resident evil games, but this will get me playing them all. The story is fairly lengthy, and will keep you playing for hours on end. There is great character development with Leon(YOU) and the Girl who's name I have forgot.

Must Buy for Horror game fans!

Everything about resi is fantastic, but the resi 4 wii edition has provided me with the best hours of my gaming experience. The difference between this and the PS/Xbox version is it's easier to control and play, thus more enjoyable, and the cutscenes have been re-animated to show Leon, Ada & Ashley in their Special 1 costumes. For those of you who have not played any version of Res 4 the extras include "Separate Ways"(which explores Ada's side of the story), "Assignment Ada" (Ada's mission from Resident Evil favourite Albert Wesker, in which she has to retrieve 5 parasite specimens with limited space in her attache case to carry them and her weapons,no merchant, no save points, and a boss at the end. A real challenge.Very fun; "The Mercenaries" which is the best mini-game in the history of mini-games. "Movie Browser" "Ada'a Reports", special costumes, extra weapons to earn and buy and more areas on harder modes. In conclusion the very best game on the Wii brought out for the last couple of years. Cant wait for Resi 5 Wii edition.

A great game... now with great controls!

Lets keep this short, the PS2 version of Resident Evil 4 - one of the finest games ever made was a fantastic innovation and one of the first true next generation games.
The Wii version takes this 2 the next level it keeps everything that was great about the original and combines it with the Wii's truly fantastic control system.
Brilliant!

An excellent game that is a must buy for any wii owner.

Resident Evil 4 is a deep, challenging and breath taking game which at this price is a steal. More entertaining and horror based than the next gen Resident Evil 5, Resident Evil 4 takes what was good about the first 3 games and pulls in some excellent additions like a more accomplished 3D world and the added bonus of the fantastic over the shoulder third person view.

This is also one of the best games for use of the intuative wii controls, leaving behind the mini game dross that is available elsewhere, you never feel like the controls have been forced into use - meaning that you have a fabulous game that controls superbly well.

All in all, this game is a must buy for the more mature wii owner, try it and you won't be disappointed.

This is without a doubt one of the greatest games ever and made so not just by the game itself but by the wii controls. Simple point and shoot.

Storylines are fantastic too and lot's of various bad guys to shoot and dismantle with various ways and weapons (personal fav. is the Blacktail Exclusive)

1 year and a half down the line and about 50 completions later i'm still loving it!
Really hope that 5 comes out for the Wii (Am getting bored with all the soppy games currently out for the wii)

  Great game

This is an amazing Wii game and for only £15 its a bargain. It has an interesting story, the controls work well and it has great graphics for a wii game. The length of the main game is good as well and it is made longer by unlocking some other mini-games and even more guns.

  Brillient!

This game amazed me, its combat system was amazing and very easy to use, the game offers alot of variety throughout it such as certain rewards avalible for achieving a factor within the game such as clearing the hardest difficulty, this variety kept me playing the game untill everything i could do was done.

The wii remote and nunchuck are easy to use and bring the action events to a new level and are easy to use for game combat, the story mode is long and offers the player a long amount of game time. Many different types of weopens are avalible to the player although the storage system could be seen as some what annoying, its still usefull and a good design.

Overall this game is one of the best availible for the Wii, any resident evil fan or survival horror lover will be more than satisfied by Resident Evil 4

Few games can achieve what Resident Evil 4 has done so effortlessly; perfect pacing. From start the finish you are given puzzles, fights and exploration in the exact right ratio and so making you want to play further on. Excellent news considering that this games comes with ALL the extra content featured in the Playstation 2 version and the extras are great too.

The game play is also extremely well done, the character (Leon) moves about with some decent speed and agility but never too much so that there's always the fear of being flanked by an enemy and the aiming with the gun is superb. The Wii's controls set it miles apart from the Playstation 2 and Gamecube versions of the game, though a Gamecube controller can be plugged in for that retro experience.

The storyline is simple and a bit ham fisted at times but since the game plays like an action film you can forgive the script. Though the game's plot is definitely driving enough to compel you through the game and it's fairly self-contained meaning that you don't have to have played all previous (or any) Resident Evil games to enjoy this one.
The voice acting in the game is actually very well delivered and picks up where the script lets down.

Overall an excellent game with great controls, a decent plot and absolutely killer pacing. Without a doubt a must buy game.

Such a difference from the xbox version, utter brilliance as the wii mote and nunchuck combine to give you that little bit more interaction with the game and lots more content included for the resident evil fans =] buy it!
