Family Ski & Snowboard is better as a family game then Shaun White Snowboarding because it is more basic to play. I have been a gamer for over 20 years and it's nice to see my whole family enjoying some of my Wii games at last. I enjoy being able to use my Mii in this game and at the moment I perfer the skiing to the snowboarding. You use both the Wii remote and Nunchuk with the Wii Balance Board which felt a bit strange at first because I was already use to how Shaun White plays which is a bit different. Anyway there are two good ways to make yourself go faster the first one is done by swinging the Wii remote and Nunchuk together up & down. The second way is to hold the Wii remote and Nunchuk inwards close to your chest which makes you go really fast but, your steering on the Wii board isn't as good so be careful where you do this. Overall another good game for the Wii Balance Board.
