Spend it on something better than this pile of tosh. This woman has probably been paid a shed load to put her name to it, but all she does is a couple of interactive moments, you hear her voice annoyingly telling you to "keep it up", and that is about it. No interactive coaching, basically Rhythm Paradise on the DS gives you a better interactive workout - and is way more fun to boot!
To be fair, the first time I used this, I agreed with the other reviews that it was pretty rubbish. However, I have since tried it again on the hard intensity and I found it much better. The controls are hard to master to start with but if you stay with it, you will get there in the end. I would say it works better without the Wii balance board. Some of the tasks are easier to do than others but I really worked up a sweat. There is a lot of waving your arms around and not seeming to get anywhere whatever you do but you are also moving your hips and your legs as well. I used this while on a rest day from EA Active Sports Trainer. This lost a mark for me as it isn't very well explained and there is no interactive trainer showing you what to do. I have done the weight loss and hill climb workouts so far and I have opened up quite a few tips. I suppose it all depends on your personal choice but I would recommend this to people though you would have to do other things as well such as Sports Active.
You have to move your arms and your legs to get your character to a destination point. Once there you pick left (mystery) or right (set task) these are the mini ones like tires and log balance etc. It is quite repetitive in the sense that there is a lot of running/walking to do but the object is to get fit. Sometimes the moves don't work and you have to keep trying which is a bit annoying but on the whole I think this is a good simple workout.
You get to create a prfile character, choose how long a workout you wish to do and gain tips along the way.
***NOT A WASTE OF MONEY, BUT GOOD IF YOU LIKE RUNNING EXERCISE MORE THAN YOGA TYPE***
So disappointed with this. Waited for ages for release date, what a waste of time. Would not recommend to anyone. After using only once I felt cheated, tried it a couple of more times, still couldn't get the remote to react as it should, you could stand there and wave your arms about. Very poor!!!
I have been waiting for this to come out for the last month and i was extremely disappointed, this game is rubbish. i have played it twice now thinking that i had done something wrong the first time but no it really is rubbish. once you have set up your profile you start your training but every exercise is you just standing on the Wii balance board and swining your arms around, even for the boxing it is the same. Please do not waste your money buying this game there are better keep fit games out there like the "My Fitness Coach"
