X-Men Origins: Wolverine

the wii version of this game is terrible the game play is not long enough and the upgrades are too pathetic to even enjoy, nothing like the other consoles its advertised on, do not buy!!

Wolvie is a big hit in this game, It is based on the same storyline as the film. Wolvie has regenerative health which quickly heals him right before your eyes. When fighting the bad guys you gain maximum points and when you collect enough points you can buy upgrades to make Wolvie more poerful such as his health meter last longer or make his attacks more powerful. There is non stop action in this game which is fantastically good and It is addicting as well but really worth It. the graphics are fantastic in this latest adaptation from Activision games! A must buy!

X-Men Origins: Wolverine is a rather basic Wii game. It does make use of the Wii controller quite nicely, e.g. to pop out Wolverine's claws or for some of the special moves. But the game play itself is too simple: most of the fights can be completed with simple button bashing and the boss fights are simply a matter of throwing in some hits, and then pressing the Z button, or whichever one appears on the screen.
I did find some of the 'puzzles' interesting. When trying to find a way out of a level, you have to combine all of Wolverine's powers in the proper way.
As for the story line: this game follows the movie, not so much the comic books. Unfortunately, the game lacks interesting villains. With 40 years of comic book history, I was disappointed by the lack of other X-characters.
All in all, if you find this game in the bargain section (like I did), you can pick it up, but it's not a 'must have'.

I was expecting it to be like the 360/PS3 versions, but its got none of that blood in it, just a standard hack n slash with minimal upgrades available, not even worth a rent !
