Official Nintendo Wii Lens Cleaning Kit

I highly recommend this product. I started to get the 'Unable to read disc' error message when loading up Super Smash Bros Brawl recently which left me unable to play the game, so thought I would give the Wii lens cleaner kit a go.
I was supprised to see how much dirt was on the white pad when I removed the tool from my Wii and even more so as we have a smoke free house.
Im now able to play Brawl again which is great and have saved myself the hassle of having to send my Wii back to Nintendo to fix the disc error problem.

I was having problems playing smash bros on my wii. I bought this disc in a last hope that it might make the disc work, and it does! Its worth giving this product a try if you are having problems getting games to work, as it worked for me!

Get this now as I have over 40 wii games and all of them work fine part from those two I have stated up above because they are dual layer disc. If your Wii lens has alot of dust on it then you will not be able to load dual layer games on your Wii. At six pounds it's a much cheaper way of getting your Wii to work fine with these games then sending it off to Nintendo themselves to be fixed.

Don't listen to the person who gave a 1 star. It really does work. I've had my Wii for some time now, and when I was unable to play Red Steel 2 because of a Disc read error, I didn't really know what to do. I went and looked around for a solution, which were either to send it off to Nintendo to fix, or to just DIY with a lens cleaner.

I didn't know which lens cleaner to try, so I just checked play.com if they had one and I got around to finding this little thing. I trust the whole 'Official' accessories Nintendo make for us, as I have a number of top quality items from them for the Wii (including the Officially Licensed Nintendo Speaker System - They are great).

For 6 pounds, I reckon it was worth it. Used it once and wow, I couldn't believe how much dirt was on that white cloth (Too much Super Mario Galaxy I guess), and now, I have no Disc read problems, so really recommend if you guys have this problem.
