Mario & Sonic At The Olympic Winter Games is one of the best multiplayer games out on the Wii in which the whole family will enjoy playing together. There are four new characters for you to have fun with which are Donkey Kong, Bowser Jr, Metal Sonic and the super cool Silver The Hedgehog. When using the Wii Board for the Bobsleigh event you seat on the board and, follow the path down by shifting your wieght from left to right which is great fun. Skiing and Snowboarding are fantastic on the Wii Board too but you can only use the Wii Board in one player mode. The Dream events are ace with Dream Apline which is based on the Mario Circuit from Mario Kart Wii. At last I can take Sonic out with a Red Shell with Mario. For all you people that played the Radical Highway in Sonic Adventure 2 on the Gamecube well you are in for a treat because thats what the Dream Snowboard Cross event is and what a rush you will have! Ice Hockey is a bit tricky to begin with but it's great fun once you get the hang of it, especially whilst playing against your mates or family. There are 27 different events in total for you to enjoy. Also you get stars which you can spend in a shop on outfits for your Mii's or buy music from the Mario and Sonic games. Overall this is a must have game for your Wii which I'm sure you will enjoy alot like I do too.

 Great Family Game

After recently purchasing the wii I am now beginning to understand the hype. As a PS3 owner I never understood the attraction of throwing yourself around the room to games with subpar graphics. That is until I folded and finally bought one. Its excellent. And games like this in paticular bring the whole family together. It has many events - variations of skiing, bobsleigh, snowboarding - which are admittedly very similar but loads of fun. It has dancing on ice and ice hockey which are very very addictive. You can use your own mii which adds to the novelty and you can open dream events. which include a sonic like skiing mode and loads more. Add to that a party game that asks you to win a chosen event then shoot balloons AND the wii board compatibility and you've got a FUN wii title that even the most prudish of PS3 owners will enjoy. There should be NO argument. Although Xbox and PS3 have fantastic games and graphics that are out of this world , this machine should sit proudly by them.
Its not a poorer machine....just different.

 It's ok...certainly not 'amazing'

This is not as good as the summer games and doesn't match the playability of the first game either. The controls are repetitive across a number of events and consequently don't make for very interesting games. Things like shopping feels like an attempt to 'fill' the game up. Overall it's not terrible but perhaps wait till it's on sale/reduced. Highlights are figure skating, bobsleigh and snowboard cross.

 Fantastic Fun

After the brilliance of Mario and Sonic at the Olympics I couldnt wait for this game to be released. And it duly delivered. Brilliant fun for everyone to play, people of all ages will enjoy this one. Its not quite as technical as some of the games on the original and so makes it slightly easier for the younger ones, and also a lot less tiring for the older generation but it is still a challenge for experienced gamers. The addition of the balance board makes for great fun particularly the bobsleigh event. Multiplayer is fantastic and great fun when friends are visiting. The wide range of olympic and dream events will see that this game has long lastability and will not become boring. A must buy for any Wii lovers.

 Another Fab Wii Game

This is another brilliant game for interaction on the Wii. Dont hesitate to purchase this game, its for all ages little kids and bigger kids. The Bobsleigh and Iceskating are fantastic. the graphics at the beginning of the game are impressive for a Wii. Hour's / day's / week's & month's of laughs and fun .... Enjoy !
