My daughter is four years old and she loves playing Mario Kart Wii so when she saw Madagascar Karts she couldn't wait to have it. There are only 9 tracks to race on which are mainly based on the Madagascar movies and some other Dreamworks animated films such as Sherk and Monsters Vs Aliens. There are 9 different character to play with which are: Alex, Marty, Gloria, Melman, King Julien, the insane Penguins, the cheeky monkeys, Shrek and B.O.B. the blob from Monsters Vs Aliens. You only start off with five of the characters and have to unlock the rest. Up to four people can play at once and there are some neat little short cuts for you to find on each track. Each character as their own special power move and the weapons are good fun to use. There are hidden dangers on each race track with a big white shark being one of the best. The graphics capture the animated films well and the music is nice & jolly. This game has no online mode and won't last you as long as Mario Kart but, it's… more »

This game has no online mode and won't last you as long as Mario Kart but, it's easy and fun for people of all ages to enjoy. If you have young children that love Mario Kart and you can pick this game up cheap then it's worth it. Even my partner and myself enjoy playing this game alot with our daughter.
