Best bang for the buck as far as Microsoft Points go

First and foremost, for those of you reading this review that are parents or family members, please be aware of two things.

Firstly, XBL (Xbox Live) is required to redeem these points, so if your child or whoever it may be isn't connected to the service, then your money would be put to better use elsewhere.

Secondly, the fact that the MSP card is a "Call Of Duty: Elite Design" has no effect on how you choose to spend your points. They do not have to be spent on COD (Call Of Duty) downloadable content, nor do you have to own a copy of any of the games from the franchise to use these points.

With that being said, this is the best deal on Play as far as MSP are concerned. Some people prefer to buy two 2100 MSP cards instead of one of these as they get 200 more MSP at the expense of 2 pounds. However, if we do the maths, you would be getting 125 MSP per pound with this item as opposed to 123.5 MSP per pound if you were to buy the two 2100 MSP cards. The only real advantage of buying the two 2100 MSP cards is if you're buying gifts for two individuals.

Another pro to buying this item over the 2100 MSP card is that the longevity of the 4000 MSP card by far supersedes it. Initially, I used to purchase the 2100 MSP versions, but after having found I ran out of points too quickly, I decided to make the transition from 2100 MSP to 4000 MSP. I now find that I am purchasing MSP far less than before.

Overall, this is the item you'll be wanting to get if you want the best bang for the buck with Microsoft Points.
