 The only peripheral needed

This is definitely the only thing you will need once you purchase a console. It completely replaces the need for AA batteries that the wireless pad takes.

Its easy to use, simply plug the USB plug into one of the front USB ports on the bottom (or right hand side) of your console, dependent on how you have you console, and the other end onto the top of your wireless pad. The light will then go red, when it goes green, its charged. It normally takes around 4 hours to charge fully compared to the Quick Charge Kits 2 hour charge time, but this is cheaper and you have the convenience of being able to charge in the middle of a game. Its a must buy.

Great product, but one bit of advice

Bought one straight away with my 360, and it's never let me down. If it needs charging while your 360 is off it'll still charge, but you have to take care of it. Unplug it from your controller holding the 'white bit', I used to tug the wire and now i've broke mine (after 2 years that is)

You need this for your wireless controller.

Any wireless controller should be sold with one of these as standard.

If you use a wireless controller on batteries, you'll end up spending far too much money, and when the controller runs out if on live, it could leave you getting killed and loosing points.

This comes with a wire, and a back.

The back goes where you have your batteries in the back of the controller, and once you put it in, it stays there for life.

Next you plug the wire into the top of the controller, not into the bottom. So you can charge your pad while you're playing your game, and have the headset in it at the same time.

Microsoft did annoy me with this though, when I bought my 360 I thought this would be included in it. It wasn't. Stupid microsoft.

But wireless is much better than a wired pad I suppose, so it is worth investing in this, it will save you money in batteries in the long term.

Also, there is no lag on the wireless, its just as good as a wired controller. You know when to charge it because the middle of the part has lights going around it, when they spin around that means you plug your wire into it, carry on playing while it charges, then when its charged you just take the wire out and enjoy the wireless gameplay.

Buy this, buy a wireless pad, and enjoy.

This is a great peice of kit to have.

When you have more then one controller as most people probably have it's great to use especially when you have three other people on your xbox and one battery starts to die!!!

Really good little product which helps make gaming the bit more hassle free!!!

Have a wireless controller then you must get this.

If you spend £4 on a set of good batteries then after 3 changes you could have bought this kit.

The cable is around 3 metres long so if you are running out of juice whilst playing you can confortably play and charge.

Charging takes around an hour and You can charge it out of sight if you wish through one of your PC's USB ports.

You really do get around 25 hours of play - that includes the controlllers rumble feature activated.

Great value at play.com and a great product from Microsoft
