Live and breathe as Ezio, a legendary Master Assassin, in his enduring struggle against the powerful Templar Order. He must journey into Italy's greatest city, Rome, center of power, greed and corruption to strike at the heart of the enemy.

Defeating the corrupt tyrants entrenched there will require not only strength, but leadership, as Ezio commands an entire Brotherhood who will rally to his side. Only by working together can the Assassins defeat their mortal enemies.

And for the first time, introducing a never-before-seen multiplayer layer that allows you to choose from a wide range of unique characters, each with their own signature weapons and assassination techniques, and match your skills against other players from around the world.

It's time to join the Brotherhood

  • Master the possibilities: As Ezio, a legendary Master Assassin, experience over 15 hours of single-player gameplay set in the living, breathing, unpredictable city of Rome
  • Lead a legendary brotherhood: Recruit and train promising young Assassins. Deploy them across the city as you see fit, or call upon them to aid you in your quests.
  • Experience a rich historical tapestry: Collaborate with real historical characters such as Leonardo da Vinci, Niccolo Machiavelli and Caterina Sforza
  • Win the heart of a city: Use your hard-won currency to revitalize the crumbling capital city. Rally the citizens to your cause and unlock extra factions and missions.
  • Deploy secret weapons: Swiftly eliminate your enemies using tools such as poison darts, parachutes, double hidden blades, hidden guns, and an advanced flying machine at your disposal
  • Memorable multiplayer: Choose from multiple authentic character classes, each with their own signature weapons and killing moves. With richly-detailed maps and a wide variety of unique multiplayer modes, you'll never fight the same way twice.

 Amazing combat system

Assassin's Creed Brotherhood is not AC 3. Which is GREAT NEWS! Another Assassin's Creed is on its way. This is a sort of expansion pack for AC 2 to continue where the story left off. It's pretty long and just a great game overall - definitely worth a buy if you played all the other AC's.

Game has improved on the combat system (as if he wasn't good enough) its even better. Instead of having to counter one at a time, you can counter some one after countering some one else, without them having to attack you first. It only works when they drop there guard down or leave an opening. It's pretty damn impressive. Best combat system than any other game by a mile, and with this new combat system its dramatically improved it.

Another great idea they have is taking down Borgia bases, so you are able to take down Borgia influence in that area to then be able to purchase shops to earn money There are a lot of fun features in this game that will keep you busy for hours. Can not believe this game is not even Assassin's Creed 3. How they scrapped this one out in just a short of mount of time is amazing.

Word of warning though, do not buy the landmarks so early in the game. They do not earn you anything. Their just there to buy when you have bought everything else.

 Wow

All the advertising for Black Ops saying it was game of the year ....... Sorry it's not this is !! AC was very poor AC2 was fantastic but Brotherhood is totally out of this world as a steady gamer it has taken me just over two weeks to clear the story but I still have loads more to do ..... Buy it now you won't be disappointed

 When in Rome...

When you first play this game it feels almost like an add-on to Assassin's Creed II, but my question is, why is this a bad thing? Assassin's Creed II was incredible, and enough innovation and evolution has been injected into Brotherhood to keep the experience fresh and enjoyable, in a way it follows the saying 'if it ain't broke then don't fix it.'
Some of the new additions include investing in the city, buying landmarks and various establishments to boost your income. You can now also recruit people to your cause, sending them on missions to gain experience, ultimately becoming a fellow Assassino to help you fight on the streets of Rome. It's no longer the story of a single man fighting against his enemies but more your transition from a lone Assassin to a leader of men. There's nothing more satisfying that perching casually on a roof beam as you watch your recruits expertly dispatch your enemies. However the down side of this is that it makes Assassin's Creed Brotherhood a little bit simple. It's a minor annoyance, but I love a challenging a game, and this rarely challenged me.
The setting of Roma has been intricately created and is a truly beautiful setting to explore. Highlights include traversing the ruins of the Colosseum, descending into the glorious Pantheon and exploring the underbelly of the city discovering pieces of Romelus' treasures.
I could list many other details about Assassin's Creed Brotherhood but they all point to how great this game is, the franchise is getting better with every instalment and I cannot wait for what Ubisoft does with the next in the series.

Only have £40? Buy this before you even contemplate Blk Ops

This game should be the game of the year, forget Black Ops!! Game play is even better then AC2, with the added bonus of an enjoyable online multiplayer. Graphics and storyline are both 10/10, with Ezio now being able to "pull off" yet more awesome combat skills, with more variety of weapons. Also great puzzles etc, upon discovering the 16 subject videos to get you thinking, similar to AC2. I own both this & Black Ops, and believe me Black Ops has'nt even been in my XBox since this was released!!. In my opinion, if you've played the previous Assasin Creed's, you have to get this before Black Ops gets any consideration!!

 Good Game!!

I have played this game from release day and I personally find that this game was a little rushed the story line was a bit off and not as gripping as the 2nd game I did feel for the first part it was just all too random killing people that made no significant difference to the story.

I do miss woth they did in the 1st assassins creed where they build you up to take out someone who will have an effect on the story with good cut scenes and interesting ways to kill your target this game however I found it to be lacking the enthusiasm to want to change the fate of the world etc.

The graphics however are still good apart from a few graphic tearing areas such as woods and the odd brick house but they can be fixed in the next one. The weapons are still fun to use with the addition of some new weapons I won't spoil it you will find out what you can play with.

The Item collecting idea is a bit random I get the idea for collecting items to obtain certain equipment but the rest is a bit of a waste of time e.g Who would ever think a tomato is a piece of treasure. LOL

In this game as you can tell by the title you can recruit brothers and sisters for your guild. Its cool to have that help in awkward situations but a bit useless when you have mastered the controls because combat is easy even if there are 20+ enemies surrounding you.

Mulitplayer however is why it loses a star for me its an interesting idea but I believe it should be a single player game. They are obviously doing it so people will hold onto the game and not trade it in when you have 100% completed everything to do like I have done with the 1st and 2nd game.

All in all still a good game story was a bit slow and slightly drifting into random lines but still leaves you wanting to play the next one can't wait!!
