This is a good game, no doubt about it, and the fact that it is the complete saga in one game is better.
But why Lego?
They should make one like this but not Lego.
I mean what happened? did Lego give them a sponsored contract to turn Star wars - a complete science fiction legend that has inspired generations into building blocks?
As i said before - an excellent game, but would be better if it was real characters.
Why has this game got such great reviews? Sure, it's not, awful, it warrants about 2 stars.
Although it is long, most of the time you are just collecting studs - there isn't much else to do. I'd say at least 70% of the time you spend playing is spent collecting studs.
1.) what other game lets u be a lego character
2.) the graphics are great
3.) the starwars saga is just the same
4.) easy to get achivements
absaloute bargain such a fun family game
I've noticed comments like 'i'm 19 and still enjoyed it' etc. Well i'm 30 and of sound mind and I totally love this game! It is a huge amount of fun for gamers of all ages. If you grew up with Star Wars and Lego it is pure entertainment, and if you didn't it is still amazing platform gaming. At £18 it's a must for all Xbox 360 owners.
This is a fun game if your a Star Wars buff, or a Lego fan -- I'm 14 and i enjoyed for the first 3/4 films but after a couple of levels you have to leave it and then continue tomorrow coz it can get quite boring and repetitive. There are a few annoying features about it though like the CPU if your playing by yourself, the CPU just stands there and does absolutely nothing, it doesn't help you on the two-man jobs like it does on Lego Indiana Jones - The Original Adventures, also the online Servers are terrible!!!!!!, When you walk through a room it has to reconnect, and sometimes when your at the end of a level it can disconnect from the game, and you have to re-do the whole thing!!!!!!!. Overall, this is an OK game if you don't get easily frustrated LIKE ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I bought this game based on the reviews on here, don't totally agree with all of them. It is a good game but I found myself doing the same things over and over. Once I completed the story mode I was so sick of it I couldn't be bothered going through all the levels again with different characters to collect all the items.
This game is ideal for kids but adults or more serious gamers will get bored.
decent for a laugh.
seems abit of a cash in considering the first trilogy only popped out onto 360 last year.
but good all the same
Game developers tend to take themselves too seriously nowadays, so it's nice to finally find a game where the developers have clearly had fun making it. And that simply means that you'll have fun playing it.
The game is charming and genuinely funny from start to finish. It's a must buy for anyone with any level of interest in both Star Wars and Lego, but even those Star Wars fans with a good sense of humour should take a look. It's an exceptional game that'll leave you with a smile on your face.
This is fantastic!! So addictive. Any age can play this game & enjoy it. Obviously they made some levels aimed towards younger gamers but some later levels can be abit tricky although hardened gamers wouldn't have much trouble. Beng able to go through all 6 films from Menace to Jedi is brilliant & been able to pick up so many iconic figures to play on freeplay such as Darth,Chewie & Yoda is great. A must for any Star Wars fan!!!!
if u dont have lego star wars 2. and never played it. u should definatly get this its truly epic a new genre of gaming obviously if u hate lego and star wars (who does?) dont get it but im a huge fan of star wars and lego. ive spent around 200pound on real lego star wars and this game will make u feel right at home
