In a frantic battle to the chequered flag, Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing sees Sonic and friends speed around tracks set in mediaeval castle ramparts, lush rainforests and bustling cities, all taken from the visually rich and varied universes of Sonic and Sega. Fan favourites such as Dr. Eggman, Tails, AiAi, Amigo and many more will join Sonic in their custom built vehicles, revving their engines and jostling to stay ahead of the pack. Each character will race around the track in cars, planes, motorbikes, and in AiAi's case - a banana mobile! Secret short cuts, swift handling and avoiding strategically placed obstacles are certainly the best way to get to the top of the podium.

This game is really fun if you enjoy playing multiplayer during weekends. The tracks, characters, music is all vgood along with all of their different veichles. Loads of races to keep you busy and even when you get bored of racing the same tracks you have different kinds of events to play e.g Battle which is racers racing aroung with unlimited ammo trying to blow each other up which is always a fun multiplayer. This game is espcially fun when you are bored of getting battered by little kids on COD MW2 you can get beat by kids at a kids game so its not as hard too take. Must buy just for when you are bored on the more serious games.

Wow! This game is so much fun. It is Mario Kart for the xbox but it gives you something that Mario Kart doesnt. It has simple controls, smooth graphics and very creative levels. To anyone who wants to race, YOU should buy this game. And I would challenge you!

 Fantastic Game

Im 22 and grew up with the mariokart series and that alone made me want to purchase this!

The gameplay is great works just as you would want a karting game to work, the xbox live features are great and work flawless with only having it crash twice when loading up a new map online, i play this on my own but didnt take long to find randomers online to race to the death with :p.

All in all this is fantastic and if you loved mariokart, this is for you it works and its essentially same game with achievements,

the only downside i have to it is the powerups its lacking slightly and could have more offence ones,

5/5 product great laugh!

 Surprisingly good fun!

I bought this only really for the 4-player split screen and didn't expect it to be all that good. But it is!

Good Points
Decent weapons
Variety of characters (even Bonanza Brothers!)
Variety of maps
Quite detailed backgrounds
Grand prix and missions are good
Special power for each character
Multi-player variety (capture the flag, race, battle etc)

Bad Points
Circuits can be quite short
Some races are not clearly laid out
Online play - some people in a lobby will choose a single character and never change, meaning that no-one else can use that character

Overall an enjoyable racing game for children or adults. Can be annoying when people don't change characters but that's down to the players rather than the game. Highly recommended.
