The popular PGR series zooms onto the Xbox 360, expanding many of the Project Gotham Racing features gamers have grown to love. PGR 3 creates the ultimate roster of the hottest supercars in existence, introduces them to the high-definition era, and drops them into a completely new gaming world, where style rules the road. Racers define and create individually customised gameplay, and can race each other - on or offline.

Enhanced and refined gameplay reintroduces racers to the familiar Kudos system with a completely original user-driven experience that lets gamers race what they want, where they want. Gamers drive with style and daring to earn Kudos in front of large crowds, and win badges to reward their skills in all areas of the game.

With a whole new take on accessibility offered by the innovative and user-friendly GothamTV, PGR 3 becomes even more like a real sport, offline and online. Unparalleled online features allow racers to compete for the right to become the Gotham World Champion, live on GothamTV. With a whole host of new racing modes, custom races, community support and campaigns, PGR 3 takes advantage of the online advances Xbox 360 has to offer.

The original Kudos challenge: Speed alone will not win this race. PGR 3 rewards the best drivers for their ability to execute bold moves as they race. Powersliding, pulling off a 360, getting airtime, staying on the race line, drafting and getting up on two wheels will earn gamers Kudos points for their style and skill.

The ultimate supercar collection: Gamers can live out all their dream car fantasies as they own more cool cars than they ever thought possible. Players can take the wheel of more than 80 authentically modeled and licensed supercars from manufacturers such as Ferrari, Dodge and Lamborghini. With fully modeled interiors, functioning dashboards and individually recorded engine roars, life truly begins at 170.

A world of living, breathing cities: PGR 3 transports gamers to intricately modeled popular locations, including New York, Tokyo and multiple other cities. The tracks are brought to life and populated by thousands of people in the crowds - all motion-captured - making PGR 3 a racing game that really has to be seen to be believed.

GothamTV takes gamers online with Xbox LIVE: PGR 3 exploits next-generation worldwide connectivity to let drivers show off in front of a global online audience. With GothamTV, gamers can watch any player in the world on live news feeds, get live ticker-tape information when friends break records, and compete with anyone, anywhere, anytime. Drivers can choose to casually involve themselves in the online side of GothamTV or set out to climb the ranks and conquer the entire institution of worldwide PGR 3 racers.

Customised gameplay: Gamers have asked to race their own way, and now they can. No longer are gamers forced to race cars they don't want or battle through the game just to see a city they want. How gamers play the game, and in which car, is now in their hands. And if they want to show their friends, they can go online and challenge them.

On getting my shiny X360 after waiting and waiting I couldn't wait to fire up Gotham 3, after all PGR2 on the original Xbox is without shadow of a doubt the best single and multiplayer game around.

So, how does this game differ, and why is it slighlty dissapointing. Well, its the gameplay and online experience.

In Gotham 2 you were forced to use different cars over different Car classes. In Gotham 3 - If you wish you can use the same car to complete the whole game.

The single player is challenging but not in the way that PGR2 was... Yes online leaderboards are their, as is the great kudos system to keep you between the arcade racing and driving simulator.

Graphically the game is very good indeed, the photo realistic cities of Las Vegas, New York, London ooz detail in HD. Park up at picadily Square and look into Burger King. You can see the menu!! No detail is left un turned.

A word of warning though. As I got the core system first as no premium consoles were available.... This game does look poor graphically in Standard Definition with the supplied composite video cable. If you play in SD you must get the Xbox Scart cable.

The cars are also lovingly recreated, ferrari's, lamboughini, Koinesegg. the worlds fastest cars are here. But not the Buggati Veyron

In game surround sound is astonishing, rear engined cars hum loudly from your rear surround speakers. And you know when someones behind you and where as you can hear them.

The selection of cars is great although there are no official porche's unlike PGR2 - you get RUF - Must have been a problem in the licencing.

On line is good, but not as customizable as PGR2. You are stuck with go into certain challenges. It is sometimes very excting - One on One bumper to bumper racing at 200mph is ace. As is four way point to point racing.

The Nurburg ring is challenging, and the F1 Nurburg circuit again great with class A cars up to 8 players.

If only Gotham 2 was on the back compatability list.

New to Gotham, you'll love its astounding beauty and challenges. (Especially Cone Challenges on Platinum)

If your a fan of Gotham 1 and 2 from the Xbox you won't be able to help but feel a little sour, thats progress I suppose.

         Great everything

Great price, great game, great car variety and amazing how different they drive. Great challenges. A game for people who like to practise as it does get hard. You have to work on your skids and moves to pass later levels. Brilliant value for money.

how can you call this an average game!!!! utter TOSH!!!!!!!!

This game completely redifined the driving experince-other than in real life- completely!!
It isnt as realistic as some other games and to be honest the single player mode is a little dull but as far as gameplay goes you cant get much better. Even pgr4 isnt as good as far as actual gameplay is concerned. When it came out i didnt play much else.(in fact i "only" played call of duty 2 and pgr3 for a year straight)
Bottom line is........no other racing game is as good as pgr3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
