Wake up to the smell of burnt asphalt as the thrill of illicit street racing permeates the air. From the makers of the hit Need for Speed Underground series, Need for Speed Most Wanted challenges players to become the most notorious and elusive street racer.

Combining illicit street racing and tuner customization with the intensity of strategic police pursuit that surpasses any Hollywood-style chase scene, Need for Speed Most Wanted will be on every gamer's 'must-have' list this holiday season. Out-race rivals, evade cops and exploit hundreds of miles of open road as gamers make their way up the Blacklist.

To become the most wanted racer, players must build up their street cred and Rap Sheet with gripping, white knuckle, head-to-head races with the top drivers on the streets, as well as pull daring, evasive moves to out-run and out-fox the cops that patrol the open road. Players can manage their heat or utilize a number of strategic tactics to keep the cops off their tails as they leave their rivals behind to suck their exhaust fumes.
  • Open road, open world: Rule the streets as the most notorious street racer in various regions that include edgy industrial and urban environments. In the game, the environment can be a friend for a foe. Players will master short-cuts as well as use the traffic and destructible environments to their advantage.
  • All-new gameplay: Need For Speed: Most Wanted features new and exciting gameplay that incorporates strategic cop pursuit and skill-based evasion techniques with illicit street racing
  • Visual customization: Whether gamers are trying to lose the cops or they just want to pimp their ride, Need For Speed: Most Wanted offers extensive visual customizations
  • Blacklist: As players enter the world of illicit street racing, they must go up against the best street racers on the scene to earn respect and rise to the top of the Blacklist
  • Rap sheet: Players will build up their Rap Sheet with record breaking times, street challenges and out-foxing an escalation of police vehicles, tactics and technology
  • Performance tuning: Can't compete against a sports car? Head to the safehouse and tune up your ride to race against any class of vehicles.
  • Next-gen graphical features: Need for Speed Most Wanted for the next generation console delivers the next level of graphical excellence in video games. Utilizing graphical techniques including normal mapping and real-time lighting, the graphical experience is incomparable to any racing game on the market.

Having played all the need for speed games from the 1st one on the playsation 1 to the latest one shift on XBOX360. I can safely say this is the best the story is good the graphics are still pretty decent the city is huge. There is lots of good vinyls and parts for your cars But the highlight is the cop chases which are on the edge of ur seat fun. So if u like NFS games or racing games in general then get this as its well worth it PS the gamer score is also easy to get

Probably the easiest amount of gamerpoints you could probably get as all you have to do is defeat the people on the blacklist and the g increases for each person you go up and on sonny (the last person) you get about 300g. Truly easy and all you need is some good cars, you dont even need to buy them off maketplace.

An amazing game

There is a lot to dislike about this game.

The silly characters trying to be cool and tough is poor.

luckly, you don't have to put up with this much, and for me what I really, really liked about this game was the lengthy exiting police chases.

As it get mores difficult you'll have a helicopter following you, police putting stingers out on the road and driving more aggreslvely. and this is what I really really loved, smashing through police roadblocks, writing off hundreds of police vehicles, hitting the nitrous to jump, the speed breaker to have a matrix esq slow mo to help you avoid speed traps.

The upgradability of your car and personlisation is staggering. The colour and style of your tuned motor is completly what you want it to be.

On-line is not that great, racing other racers is not that great, as for me it is all about the police chasing you.

This game is also an easy 1000 Gamer points for your Gamer card. Well worth a look.

Plus the HD aspect, customisable sound track that's ownly do able on Xbox is excellent - Rip your own music to the harddrive and listen to that in game.

 The last good nfs title

For me this was the end of the nfs series because after this game they have just gone down hill which is a big disappointment because this game was very good it has a nice new fresh idea to it which works out very well!. You have your big free roam map which you can explore enter races and challenges and get lots of pursuits from the police that can sometimes lead into huge high way pursuits that will take the best of drivers skill to get away from and avoid getting arrested!.
The story is one that gets you well involved and stuck into because it has been made almost like a film basically you got the best car in the city you loose it in a race to the bad guy who cheats and then you go on a mission to win it back of him by defeating the top 15 people on the black list to get to him and win back what's yours! Graphics are very nice cars and scenery look great and all cars' can be kitted out body and engine! If you want a need for speed game buy this one its one of the best and well worth the cash!!.
