In addition, the game's Ultimate Training Mode enables players to participate in high impact agility drills, with opportunities to earn rewards and have fun with friends in a competitive, multiplayer environment.
  • Please Note: Requires Microsoft Kinect
  • Authentic UFC fitness experience: Certified by UFC and the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), UFC Personal Trainer is designed by leading MMA training experts Mark DellaGrotte, Greg Jackson and Javier Mendez to deliver a challenging and motivating UFC fitness experience that includes the best and most effective exercises utilized by today's renowned UFC fighters
  • Intense Mixed Martial Arts exercises: Learn over 70 MMA and NASM certified exercises, including moves from disciplines such as wrestling, kickboxing and Muay Thai, that are designed to improve strength, endurance and conditioning through use in a variety of routines. Each in-game routine is specialized to target specific muscle groups, as well as factor individual skill levels and fitness goals.
  • Customisable workeout routines: Focus on specific fitness objectives by building personalized routines with up to 12 different exercises. Each custom routine can also be modified to increase or decrease intensity of the game's pre-set pace, enabling players to fully maximize their training experiences based on individual preferences.
  • Personalised training tools: Receive additional guidance and encouragement throughout the fitness journey by choosing a goal and working with an MMA trainer for personalized instruction. Players will learn MMA-inspired exercises, as well as authentic training techniques and healthy lifestyle choices, enabling them to burn calories, build strength, lose weight and meet goals through a comprehensive fitness experience.
  • Ultimate Training Mode: Hit the mitts against several popular UFC fighters with a variety of challenging rhythm and timing-based agility drills that utilize punching and kicking sequences. Players can unlock a variety of different drills to earn rewards, each with increasing difficulty, as well as compete against friends.
  • Dedicated program system: Focusing on three distinct target goals - losing weight, building strength and improving performance - players may select a pre-set 30 or 60-day program that best meets their fitness needs. The selected program populates the in-game calendar with daily routines for players to follow, as well as tracks user performance.
  • Progress tracking & motivational support: An in-game journal enables players to view a comprehensive calendar of their fitness activities, including specific routines, time management and more. The calendar continuously tracks progress and provides recommendations to help players meet their desired results.

 Fitness evolved... basically

Another basic eye-toy style fitness game. Fitness evolved is all you need.

Yup the Kinnect detects you, tracks you, you follow training routines... but if you peel away the layers it is not much more than Mr.Motivator DVD from the pound shop.

 Amazing

i orginally bought this game because i love ufc. after using it it it isnt for the faint hearted. it will kick your ass get you fit and sculpt your body aslong as you put the effort in. the 30 day programs are awesome as they come with the choice of either build strength cut weight or build endurance.
there is also hit the mits where you train with ufc fighters or trainers using various levels of dificult combos ranging from easy to hard so teaches you techniques as well

a must have for ufc fans and a must have for ppl who r willing to put the effort in to obtain tht mixed martial artist body

Have played it two nights in a row and although i would call myself fit i have been aching in muscles i never knew i had. A vast improvement on your shape regarding kinect sensor and how it picks u up. A couple of times it has lost me while excercising but that has been my fault from moving out of the area given to stand in. Very good .

 Not For Couch Potatoes

This is a great game (exercise manager) if you use the workout program. I set up for the 60 day workout and so far it is excellent. Really pushes you to work hard and has a good mix of exercises. Some of the verbal is irritating but just turn the volume down.
Very good content with options to do just one exercise if you want, although if this is all you want then you are wasting 99% of what this game offers.
I am a professional martial arts teacher and have found thi sto be a good workout... It does not teach you to do UFC or cage fighting but it does what it says on the box..

 Works for me

At the end of the day, you will either buy this for what it is or you wont. It's heavily focused on striking, combinations, fighting movements but still has a good cross section of programmes, warm ups and 'free training' options in the package.

If you want a nice sedate work out, don't bother with this. If you want to focus on striking techniques and work those kind of skills in the comfort of your front room, this is definitely for you.

I find this far more relevant to my previous (if limited) experience with Karate and Krav Maga than something like EA Sports Active, and UFC Personal Trainer is far less buggy, and didn't 'lose me' anywhere near as much as EA's tedious effort.
