After many mixed opinions about this game I decided to give it a go. On the whole, it's very good, brilliant graphics and sound effects that'll knock pictures off your wall. The stories good and will keep you interested, and it's got good replay value on alternate difficulties with different locations for hidden items. The bad points, well the control system takes a bit of getting used to especially when you pilot the machines and the FMV can get rather corny but I'm being really picky here. In general a good all round shooter that's got something for most people out there and in my opinion should've done better in other reviews, great stuff!

Really good and some nice extras.

                Top 100 Games Reviewer

Although many would argue that I could have christened my new console with a better game, I think that this has got a lot more flak than it deserves. The gameplay is extremely fun and challenging and all the akrid have their own tactics required to take them down and you need the right weapons. The AI is extremely aggressive and you need to be on the ball as they'll be attacking you from more angles than pythagoras ever thought of. The graphics are absolutely superb, from the snow flicking up of the rolling akrid, to the motion blur as things whizz past you, and the sumptuous rocket explosions going off as you roll out of the way heroically. The story is good enough to keep you involved, not amazing, but if you liked devil may crys or onimushas then it is similar to that in terms of depth. The VS's are so fun to use and can be outfitted with a huge amount of weapons including EMF blades later on :o)
There are loads of achievements for finding secret things in the level to keep you going, and a huge gamerscore reward for finishing it on the deadly extreme level. Honestly, if you like zone of the enders and other 3rd person capcom games like DMC i really reccommend you purchase this, it's a steal at 40 notes with this being perfect for people who like good games and love collectors editions of games. This features a really nice art book along with a good tin and acompletely exlcusive multiplayer map which wont be seen on regulars editons till the summer. All in all its really good but it all depends on weather or not you want a cheaper regular or more expensive collectors edition.

Nice Outing From Capcom On The 360...Thanks For The Gifts To

So, Lost Planet. The game that has been full of hype, apparently, the 'best looking game to hit 360 so far' Well, all these questions are about to be answered for you.

                1. Good looking? Hell yes, it's like you-know-what for your eyes, although I would only play on a HD TV, doesn't look majorly impressive on my bedroom TV compared to my 1080 P HD downstairs. Nice extra's to, although nothing to get amazingly excited about in my humble opinion.

                2. Gameplay, as bad as people say? Well...infuriating doesn't begin to cut it. the game to me is extremely slow, your character needs to hurry up a lot more, although you can look at it as being a slow, mythodical game.

                3. Is it as good as the hype says? Well, to me it's like Halo in every way really. So, Halo is amazing, and this is great, not amazing.

Don't get me wrong, it's a playable game, but with the extra's costing an extra 15 pounds, go for the standard edition and get a good game at a good price.
