Be stealthy, be accurate, or be dead

If there is a situation that the US government can't allow, it would surely be an old Uranium mine controlled by guerilla forces in a rogue state. Take part in a secret Delta Force mission to secure the site as an elite commando sniper. Not only international security, but also your own security lays in your hands, as you infiltrate the enemy compounds with one goal: shoot to kill. If you can't manage to remain unseen, you won't make it home!
  • Enjoy a fully realistic ballistic system that accounts for distance falloff and environmental effects such as wind
  • Manage your breathing for increased accuracy of sniper shots
  • Cooperate with your spotter for a better performance
  • Watch your bullets strike the enemy with pin-point accuracy in Bullet Cam mode
  • The most realistic and comprehensive sniper shooting experience ever! Tune your weapon, use the information provided by the spotter, check the force and direction of the wind, hold your breath, all in one goal - to improve the accuracy!
  • Huge levels giving many opportunities for a sniper: find a perfect shooting point, and make sure that no one notices you!
  • Incredibly detailed landscapes that will give you a realistic feeling of being in the jungles of Columbia

 Sniper or not Sniper?

Sniper is a good game, not excellent but good in many way's, unfortunately for me it is sadly lacking in some areas, such as poor movement, at times it seems that when weeving your way around the scenario you can get hooked up on the slightest thing, for example there is a section in the game which is nothing to do with sniper tactics where you run around with a machine gun, run up some steps only to get snagged on the top step which allows the enemy to pepper you with bullets, this sucks big time. The controls when sniping could have included wind sheer, distance and other sniping essentials that would have made the game more complex and exciting, another thing is the fact that when moving and hiding in the terrain, the enemy has little or no difficulty in spotting you or shooting you with standard weapons from great distances, That being said there are some great fun points in the game especially the bullet cam, nice touch! in conclusion I believe that I have had enjoyment, frustration, annoyance and dissapointment, all together a mixed bag of emotions for a game I was expecting so much more from.

I was intrigued upon first finding out about this game and checked out many videos of it and decided to gamble for 30 quid brand new. Could not be happier - controls identical to cod mw2 and plays pretty much the same. Graphics are decent and the game is in general suprisingly addicted i havent touched cod since i got this. Its certainly harder and more realistic - one player is quite tense and you find yourself actually holding your breath as well. Multiplayer is impressive great levels with so many vantage points plus its fun trying to find other players as they are so well hidden.
All in all i am so happy i gambled on this and cannot believe nor understand why it is only 30 quid hence the 5 stars. Price, single player, multiplayer - excellent purchase!

 Wow, just Wow!

Sniper Ghost Warrior (2010) Xbox 360

Well what can i say, i bought this game on friday and havent really been off it since. Okay first of all City Interactive have never made an Xbox 360 game as they stick mainly to PC. Anyway back to the game. Firstly its not overly expensive as it RRP's at 35 quid, the story all though not based on a factual event, its is still well thought out. The graphics are reasonable nothing spectacular but its easily playable. All in all its a cracking game and if your into sniping from 100's of yards away this is definately for you. The only thing i dislike about the game is the AI of the enemies as even on easy you can find yourself getting obliterated

5 outta 5 for City interactive on what should be a hugely popular game

A good game well worth 30 quid. Fairly good graphics & very realistic sniping but lacking in certain areas, the enemys dont seem to have to be looking in your direction to shoot at you & the game has a slight lag occasionally, however it becomes incredibly addictive although short, 5 hours 30 mins should see you through the full campaign, not for everyone but a must have for sniper fans!

 A great game

This game is really good for people who like games like this and its different from call of duty you carnt run around 'no scopeing' the parts where you do have to go in all guns blazing is abit of a let down but all togeather a nice game 4/5 stars
