When i played the demo of this game i was like hmmm this game could be something. So i went with my gut feeling and bought it and i am glad i did. Graphically this game is fantastic and the smoothness of the gameplay is unreal. the controls are alot similar to gears of war but it has that mass effect sort of feel to it. there is room for customising your weapons etc and a storyline and characters that suck you into the game and want you to come back out all guns blazing.

Truly a game worth buying.

It's just a quite good game.

The game mechanic is a classic 3rd person shooter one but:

-the graphic is great (and Japanese level detailed)
-the gameplay always keeps the right pace and rarely (if ever) gets you bored
-the plot is definitely not too banal, especially by nowadays standards

The only cons are the in-game dialogues in battle, battles during which your fellow soldiers will keep shouting the same lines a bit too often.

Definitely a good buy if you appreciate the graphic side of a game. if you have a week spot for Japanese style and if you are looking for a good shoot-em up to relax for a few hours.

Having played first person shooters to death I switched to good old medieval ogre bashing for a bit but had this on my list of games to try.

Really pleased I remembered to come back to this title as it did not disappoint. Comparisons will be made with the Mass Effect series but that is only natural as it uses a similar game format (colleagues to aid you in the war on Hollow Children). The storyline is good with a few conspiracies thrown in for entertainment value. The characters are really strong and some gamers will start to get attached to them while others will be happy to see them thrown in the line of fire for the sake of the Survivor.

The in-game video content is really pleasing if a little long in places but gives you time to keep up with the story and think ahead to what is around the next corridor.

My two negative criticisms are that at times it feels repetitive with regard to the enemy and you feel like your character never really gets a break from the action (which some people will not mind). The second is that it only has an auto-save function which means you have to push on to a save point or start again when you switch on. This spoils the game in some ways as I felt rushed and would like to have played at my own pace.

Great game never the less and hoping SEGA do not take too long in creating a second instalment.

Blind bought this game because it was under a tenner and it was fantastic. the story is cool and the visuals are great. The characters you pick up on the way are great with their skills involving weapons. SEGA should continue to make games of this quality, it had a mass effect style feel to the game and the use of the head set to communicate with your characters on screen was a good addition to the gameplay.

wow i bought this game thinking it would be interesting but this game has blown all my expectations out of the water i havent finished this game yet but the story is amazing the way the game makes you feel about the characters is awesome at first the characters were a mere annoyance but you grow to have differnt feelings for all of them it really is a good if not underestimated story telling experience.
