Naval Assault: The Killing Tide is a thrilling World War II era, arcade style, submarine action title. Developed exclusively for Xbox 360, the game offers players the chance to command their own WWII submarine through multiple combat zones in the North Atlantic in this exciting summer release.

The story begins in New York harbour and tells the story of the Allied submariner effort against Axis forces across the key naval warzones of the conflict. Players will captain an arsenal of carefully recreated U.S. Naval submarines against enemy ships whilst assaults from both above and below the water's surface are controlled by sophisticated A.I., so that game play will adapt to incoming assaults.

Players will need a healthy dose of stealth and cunning as well as sharp-shooting deck gun and torpedo skills to successfully destroy the enemy fleets in the 30 missions. In Naval Assault: The Killing Tide, players will need to use sonar to establish enemy ship types, alertness and attack range; all essential for dodging mines, sneaking past enemy ships and intercepting vital transmissions that can be the difference between life and death in the murky depths.
  • Naval Assault: The Killing Tide will support single player and up to 4 player online multiplayer modes
  • Naval Assualt

 This is NOT a subsim

This game is an arcade action war game, it is not a simulator. There are three depths, deep, periscope depth and surface. Torpedos can only fire in the direction of the boat. Very very unsatisfactory.

Not recommended.

I was very disapointed with this game! for a game thats meant to be all about the sea the graphics are very pixelated and unsatisfactory. the detail on some of the targets are poor at best and the explosion are worse, i would save my money and not buy this but buy a tennis ball plenty more hours of fun

This no sim as you can never get proper sims on console, pc sims are your only man. Consoles have a very long way to go until you would get anything like a real pc based sim. This game just shows how far the sims would go with the console type controls, the game is alright for just blowing things up with no way near any reality..
