Ace Combat 6: Fires Of Liberation

Ace Combat 6 is a great flighter plane simulator. I know this, because my friend who is a real geek for flight sims on his mega pc, loves it too!

Firstly, the gameplay. Its terrific fun! You feel like your in top gun, doing your missions with the radio chatter going, & the missile lock alarm going off! The mission briefing are informative, if a tad dull. There are planes to unlock as you go along, with each one having different advantages & uses. Also the mission are big! You'll find yourself landing to re-arm & repair. None of that Over G 60 second mission nonsense here! The game is a lot more realistic than you might think for an arcade game, without getting too bogged down in technical stuff. This is pure aircraft porn all the way, with so much atmos, you'll be saving to you're friend on xbox live "Goose, its time to buzz the tower!"

The graphics are jaw dropping! The aircraft models are photo realistic! There is no slowdown & the game always runs at a steady frame rate. The environments look terrific too! The whole world looks very real indeed.

Bad points? The presentation if a bit weak. The menus are dull & uninteresting. They look like they belong on the PSP. & also the story cut scenes that break up the missions seems a bit odd. I think they are supposed to be moving & powerful, but to me they just dragged on. I watched the first 2 & have skipped the rest so as to get straight on with the action.

On the whole, Ace Combat 6 is the best flying experience you'll get on the next gen systems right now. With stunning graphics, atmosphere, & a shedload of planes to unlock, you'll be kept busy for a good long while. Add to that some cool online options, such as co-op missions, deathmatch etc & you have a great game!

If you're hanking for a good flight fighter game, & wasn't too thrilled with Over G, look no further. Ace Combat 6 is the game Over G wants to be. Buy it. I did :o)

I have played and completed the demo about 24 times. The graphics, physics and whole game are just amazing. Must buy for me in november.

1st i gota say play is the site i will never spend my money anymhere else only a fool would, and ace like i said nothing comes close i was huge drop ship fan but ace BLOWS THAT AWAY, the weapons and free planes 2 down load {xbox live} graphics, plus up on d-pad and ur team mates let rip with all kinds of stuff, up twice on d-pad and all hell breaks loose with rockets from mates in the air and who ever has ur back on the ground, you'll never see them just lines smoke chasing the same plain ur after, special weapons lock on to 4 targets at once and are long range DOPE and thats only the demo the game is 10 times BETTER its massive, and only buy from play

I literally played the download last night and it's already on order, it's brilliant, i love it, if you like games like GTA call of duty, mercenaries etc. then you need to buy this.

I needed a break of late from all the FPS that have flooded the market and this was the perfect game.Allthough the story line is chessey as hell the gameplay is addictive and the graphics are superb.After each mission you earn money and can buy new planes and new missiles etc which makes it even more addictive then theres the multiplayer and co-op aswell so theres plenty of hours fun to be had.The only draw back on the game is it only took 6 hours of gameplay time to complete and once i had completed it i wanted more so im probably going to play through it again on hard as you get to keep all your money and planes from the previous campaign.All in all campaign mode is intense and addictive,Co-op is great fun with 4 freinds allthough hopefully there will be more missions availible to download soon as there are only 2 missions at the mo,multiplayer has good depth runs smoothly and theres no lag etc so its a great game and well worth the money!
