I am a big rugby fan and have been waiting for a long time for a good rugby game to come out! This is an average game, lazy is right - considering its a international game and not club level they couldnt even be bothered to include the national anthems or the haka. The All Blacks player havent even got the true names wait for Johna Lomu on the 9th September! I will be trading this in!

 Well, it's a new rugby game at least...

Having played the demo, firstly against the computer and then against a friend I guess there are a few comments that I wanted to make. Thus;

If you played rugby 2008, I wouldn't really expect much from this, the graphics are maybe a little sharper, nothing else has been changed in the game engine, even the glitches exposed in that game are prevalent in this game. Which saddened me deeply. The game itself does not seem like it will have much to it - Especially when compared to the new Jonah Lomu game which looks amazing. Ultimately, it seems like little effort for maximum profit is how it seems this game is being sold.

Sloppy work if you ask me. Personally I wouldn't throw anything more than 10-15 at this game.

 Better than the best

Demo is better than any rugby game. Jona Lomu looks just as good but this will be a 5* game. Demo is very addictive can't wait until the game is released.

 Ok game

This game has like every other game does points which could be better. However overall gameplay is good, presentation ok. I like the three commentating team idea as well as the official RWC jerseys after you put in the code so no Engeland jersey from 2007 if you choose to play as England. Bad points are not enough licensed teams, you get the USA and Canada license but not Fiji, Samoa, Tonga not to mentioned the two big ones out of the TriNations. Exclusive licenses suck. I mean USA is in both games why not the all blacks and Wallabies. Also why no Six nations in the game when you have all the licenses. To end on a positive note this game is a lot better than it's demo showed and will keep me busy until i get Jonah Lomu rugby challenge which should be sometime in the next two years :-).
