I've seen plenty of different versions of the Kinect TV mount but all with common flaws, this one however is different. The bracing arm has a stiff and durable locking mechanism which ensures it won't alter its position when the Kinect moves, even against my LG LED TV. The dock for the Kinect is brilliant and fits perfectly. I have tested this mount and it was exactly what I needed, I would highly recommend this.
I bought this after reading from a reveiw that it was great for thick and thin tv's, I have an LED ultra thin tv on the wall!! in order to use this I have to fit it to my tv backwards, so I cannot leave it up as a permanent fixture, shame really
You've just bought your Kinect, and you're loving the new tech in your life, but then you realise that when you get home, that you've left the shop without something you really need. A Kinect stand for your TV.
Of course you'll be tempted to buy the cheapest stand on offer, becuase hey; you've just spent around 100 pounds on the Kinect, trust me, I understand...
However, all the other stands on offer just don't give the range and the support that tour Kinect rightly deserves.
The licensed Kinect stand is wonderfully made, and brilliantly simple to use. Plus the stability offered is second to none. My little brother fell against the side of the TV, with the Kinect on the stand... The Kinect didn't even budge!
So, do yourself a favour, fork out that extra few quid, and get the licensed version!
fits my samsung 46inch D8000 a really reallyslim tv and my parents sony which is a fat tv. nice product
A very snug fit on top of my Plasma TV, and the KInect clips perfectly into place. Worth paying that bit more for an officially licensed product than around 8GBP less for a cheaper unofficial version.
