the bloke below said thissucks .... he obviously isnt into realism in games , my advce is that if ya want weird alien thngs or you want to play a game where none of it actuall happens then buy halo or something , if you like a realistic racing sim then buy this ... my girl friend likes it aswell witch is awesome

This is by far the worst game ever, its even worse than a ps1 racing game. Luckily i didnt have to buy it as it came with my xbox 360, played around 5 races and i hated it.
This game doesn't deserve one star. It is a truly terrible game!!!

I have never liked racing games very much but this game is different. The career mode is brilliant, it gives you the opportunity to level up your driver to access different rewards, and the selection of cars is great, with downloadable cars it's even better. When in race the cars handle just like a car should (no rediculous drifting.) when you have finished racing you can turn your cars into art in the paintshop and upload them to the auction house for people to buy, or you can buy others.

Overall brilliant racing game. I highly reccommend it.

I prefer this to gt5 (prologue at least) i think that the experience is better and i think it is more fun that gt5, because you have damage which makes you think how you drive, in gt5p you have no damage (how is that a real driving simulator?) so you end up using other cars as brake pads (i do anyway hehe) this i do not like
I would fully recommend forza 2 to any racing fan, its one hell of a good game!!

Buy PGR 3 or PGR 4 instead. This game is good but not great.

If you are looking for a proper racing game more like how things happen in real life then this is for you. Almost 2 years old but must still be one of the best looking games on the 360.

I have actually just bought it for the second time as i was getting sick of the driving games i had. Got it very cheaply!!

Online, especially with friends who are interested in racing properly is fantastic. All the custom options from paint to parts is also endless.

Race Pro is on the way soon but I think Forza 2 is what it has to live up to. My advice would be to download the demo for this as its still avail on the marketplace and the Race Pro demo when it comes out download that too.

Ignore the silly comment below. Claim realism = project gotham. I forgot that in real life i can pelt it into a corner at 90 and just use the barried to follow the corner! Realistic (thumbs up) sorry, back to forza.

If you are looking for a racing game then look no further, i have tried many games since this but none compaire the the amount of things you can do in this. For me its a gt4 beater. Online play is brilliant, single player could last for ever. Only problem i had , was that i spent all my money customizing a car, then getting bored and customizing another one. So i ran outta money!! Lol..

5 Star game this! Hope the rumours of a forza 3 are true

Ive had this game for ages and if you want realistic handling and fantastic graphics then u should get this! This game is aimed at the more technical minded drivers,although if u perfer to just grab a car and head for the track then best leave all the driving assists turned on. This game realy focuses on the car's physics and will require you to think before you max out the engine with aftermarket parts.also the online auction house is perfect for buying cars with the most amazing paint jobs!! If you like driving games then u should %100 buy this.

This is superb - the Xbox answer to Gran Turismo. I was sceptical at first of it but picked it up at a good price from play and wished I had done so a lot earlier as I really enjoyed the Gran Turismo series.

It's a racing simulator so isn't to be compared with NFS as you can really fine tune your cars here for proper noticeable differences. Try racing a car with all the upgrades on standard settings then tweek the settings and marvel at the difference in the way the cars handle.

In essence all driving games are repetitive so if you find yourself getting bored very quickly with games of this nature then it probably isn't for you. There are plenty of race classes and country classes to get your teeth into with the customary endurance races (these only last 2 hours though which is good)

Online play against people who genuinely want to play the game is fantastic but there are some cowboys who just come on to knock you off the track or take your car out which can be frustrating. You can turn the collisions off to avoid this if you wish so at least you have the choice.

There are some extra cars and tracks you can download too so you can expand on the standard game (extra cars are not needed to complete the game 100% though)

This is another must have 360 title in my view
