Forza Motorsport 3 is the definitive racing game. All 400-plus cars in the game have been built with more than 10 times the amount of polygons as Forza Motorsport 2. This includes painstakingly researched cockpits and interiors for every vehicle. But realism isn't just about pretty graphics. Turn 10 takes realism to new heights, with the most advanced physics model, artificial intelligence and damage calculations.

Forza Motorsport 3 rises above the distinction between simulation and arcade games. Using a myriad of cutting-edge driving and gameplay assists such as auto-braking, game play rewind and auto-tuning, Forza 3 delivers an experience where everyone can have fun behind the wheel, regardless of your skill and dexterity. Whether you're a newcomer or a seasoned racing game pro, Forza Motorsport 3 caters to how you drive and evolves with you over time as your skills increase.

Where dreams are driven: Featuring the latest and greatest production offerings as well as the world's fastest and most exotic street cars, Forza Motorsport 3 offers more than 400 fully customisable and tunable cars from over 50 of the world's leading manufacturers. In addition to the return of world-famous tracks from previous Forza Motorsport games, Forza 3 invites you to conquer the corners on more than 100 tracks, including new environments like the gorgeous mountainous Montserrat region in Spain, the rugged Amalfi Coast in Italy and the American Southwest.

Express your car passion: Painters and tuners will once again be able to showcase creativity through the celebrated Livery Editor, Auction House and Deep Tuning Garage in Forza 3. The car is literally the artistic canvas as some of the world's most creative car painters and designers find new layers of depth and freedom to create shocking visual masterpieces before sharing them with others over Xbox LIVE. Each car in Forza 3 is fully upgradable, allowing gear heads to take on the challenge of turning a Honda Civic into a supercar killer.

Play your way: Forza 3 is an epic racing game featuring more content and more ways to play than any racing title today. An innovative single-player season mode puts you through a completely personalised racing calendar that includes more than 200 different events, including Circuit, Oval, Drag, Drift and Timed Events. No two calendars are the same - they react to the cars you love and the races you enjoy most. In addition, the online multiplayer mode gains an all-new game rules editor.

GT on the 360? Fast and easy achievements

      Top 100 PC Reviewer

Forza 3 has the fastest achievements of any game I have ever played. By the end of the 1st race I had 3 ! After playing for around 5-6 hrs I have 26 of 50. And most are simple. Take photo, get an one. Upload the photo, get one, Drive at 200mph, get one etc etc. Loved it.

Graphically it's excellent. A touch shiney, but damn good none the less.

The gameplay again is top notch. You can adjust the skills to suit you needs from very average racers like me to bloomin tough. And the AI on tougher settings really does try to give you a race. Then theres the rewind function and this is a god send for those of us who are casual drivers, imagine a race that goes on for ages and on the last lap you spin off, rewind and continue. Saves having to to the whole race again.

And then theres the shop front. Here you can design your decals, import pics upload them. Sell them. You can even sell car set ups or buy them, this really builds on Forza 2 and takes it a step further.

The game comes on 2 disks and the second is the data disk storing all the cars and tracks. This needs 1.9 gig to install all. So if you have the orignal 20gig HD then you may need to delete stuff. But the install does let you decide what to install and takes into account your free space.

This is the closest I have seen on 360 to th GT series on PS3.

A joy to play. I say buy it.

Um...... Wheres the video game in this??... the challenge???

I'm currently driver level 30 and online level 22 so im writing my review based on about 20+ hours of play....

This latest instalment has got awsome, smooth and flowing graphics with stunning tracks and amazing scenery.. I gotta take my hat off to Turn10 for listenening to what the fans had to say and icluded some huuuge complex tracks that require some serious skill and tuning prowess to own.. Theres a decent selection of cars but a lot of them are taken straight out of the last game with less new cars than old if that makes sense.
The introduction of the drag strips is great and makes for some exciting racing (though I would like to see a longer strip as most of the cars cant be maxed out in a mile).... BUT!!!!

This game is far too easy!!! the season mode feels more like a grind than a game mode, its rediculous, I recently hit lvl30 and Forza was like "hey, you won another race.. here have a Veyron" I even sat there and thought "whaa?? I dont deserve that!!, I rewound the race 4 times" They should have just made all the cars available from the start and let you do what you want because this attempt at a structured "GT style" mode just does not work and even though I race with aids off and Hard difficulty there is no challange at all from the AI.
This is not helped by the rewind function that makes losing a thing of the past, blindly hit the throttle on the inside of a car and if you spin out just rewind, and if you dont, keep goin!... not cool Turn10.

Theres a "quick tune" setting which lets you choose what class you want your car to be and buys all the upgrades necessary to max it out for that perticular class.... Again, built for lazy gamers.

There are some good points though. The custom painting is 10X better and a fantastic feature and also the new Storefront is a great innovitive feature that allows you to sell your setups and paints! to other gamers..

That said this is still a classic example of a developer bowing down to modern gamers who want the biggest kicks instantly. Some people may disagree but I prefer to work my way to the top and show my car off with pride because I worked so hard to get it and with Forza's customisation options it would have been even more special!.. in GT5Prologue the highest payout for winning a race was about 38'000 and the F1 car was 2'000'000! but trust me when you finally unlock it you get an awsome feeling! "I did it!!!" I spent days and weeks racing it because I had worked hard to get it and for me thats what gaming is about, the achievment, the skill it takes to get all gold's, the patience to save the credits for the veyron, Forza3 forgets all this and i'm sorry to say it lets the game down massively, I know GT takes this mic with release times but you can guarentee a more engaging, challenging and stimulating experience than this will give you... 3 Stars

       Poor....

      | | See all dazzabazza66's reviews (42)

.....thought the demo was poor. I read somewhere that there was an amazing amount of detail in this game but I thought the visuals were no more than ok, inside the car the detail is very bland. Need For Speed SHIFT knocks the spots off this. Maybe the full game will be better.

       best racing game ive played

      | | See all addicknchips's reviews (3)

Title says it all. Graphics are brilliant (not sure what the guy below was on about them only being ok). Nfs shift is ok but this game blows its b*llocks off. 400 Cars, 100 tracks plus dc content. The in-car view is spot on when used with the ms wheel. This takes the crown from pg4 for the best driving game on xbox 360. Well done turn 10!!!

       Where's the challenge???

      | | See all wispynut's reviews (5)

I pre ordered this game, as I am a massive fan of FORZA 1 & 2. I have read the reviews already and have to say BareOsaka has the game in my opinion, pretty much summed up. (Have a look)
Yes the game is pretty to look at and has more content trhan Forza 2.
BUT the game has been made so that even your grandparents could play it. Even with all the assists off the cars don't feel as "raw" to drive. Very little tuning skills are needed to get in a competitive lap time, the game will upgrade cars for you(how lazy).
The game itself is easy to complete, I've only had the game 6 days and reached level 50. The rewind function enables any driver mistakes to be rectified with little effort, does this happen in real motor racing??
The game has lost the plot as a driving simulator and just become a "arcade" type racing game. Which I feel has now lost its appeal as a "specialized" racing sim and just belongs now with the Need for Speed series.
Before anyone criticises this review, the game should appeal to individuals who want a nice looking arcade racer, which is very user friendly. Finally Forza 3 doesn't offer any appeal to true driving sim fans, or offer the same challenge as Forza 2.
