Compared to "nfs: Most wanted" i must say i think this is really bad, dont like the whole crews racing for terretory thing and i think it definitely should have looked better graphically.."most wanted" is about 1 year older than this, still i think it looks and feels better than carbon. I think i've played this 3 times or so..

This is so good i love this, i prefer this over prostreet anyday as that let me down its not even on the street so how can it be called that anyway yes this is really good adition to the series and the canyon duels are also cool but if your a nfs fan buy it !

Customer rating: 5 out of 5 stars NFS has still got it!

Ok well lets just say its 10X better than the latest NFS instalment.
This game is near enough like the film The Fast And The Furious: Tokyo Drift in some way an a think thats what inspires me to play this!
The only thing NFS is missing now is like features from underground like Neons and Speakers in the back of your ride but the new NFS is being released and that should be a mix of Underground and Most Wanted.
The only thing i would say this game lacks on is the fact that the online can lag near enough every race but who actually cares, this game is still worth buying!!

This game is truely amazing but i find that there is something that it has not got that most wanted has.

Customer rating: 5 out of 5 stars So much better than Pro Street

Still to this day the best NFS game out there absolutely brilliant and Pro Street can't touch this reputation, it's a must have collectable - it never gets old!

Customer rating: 5 out of 5 stars Easily the best NFS.

This is by far the best Need For Speed game there is. The game looks amazing, it plays perfect and really is the best racing game on the 360 by far. For people who have seen people saying Most Wanted is better and this is trash, that's a silly comment. This is a great game and a lot better than Most Wanted (by the way, what has Most Wanted that this hasn't got and improved on!?). 5/5.

Customer rating: 5 out of 5 stars Pretty darn good

Dont let people put you off by saying its too easy or it didnt take long to beat because it took me a little while to complete the career and at that i found it quite a challenge especially the last few races (the final boss had me tearing my hair out haha) but even if you do complete the career mode quickly theres still plenty of other good challenges to do like online or the challenge series. Really enjoyable game got the thumbs up from me

Customer rating: 4 out of 5 stars A solid arcade style racer.

I have never been a big fann of the NFS series, so upon getting Carbon I was thoroughly surprised to find that it has taken up most of my spare time the past two weeks.
The gameplay is great, its an arcade style racer with alot of depth and customization options. The cars handle well and you never really feel like you are not in control of your car. As you progress through the carear mode you unlock different parts for your cars, from performance modifiers to decals.
Accessability, Anyone can play this game, as I write this my wife, who is not much of a gamer, is playing it and doing well.

A great game for newcomers to the NFS series but enough depth for veterans aswell.

Customer rating: 3 out of 5 stars Average at Best

Looking at other reviews given it looks like I'm in the minority here but I didn't really enjoy Carbon and for me it was a real let down. I loved NFSMW and spent in excess of 60 hours playing it so it was superb value for money and Carbon had alot to live upto. First of all, I much prefer playing MW in the light rather than Carbon where the game is always played in the dark, but that's just me. I liked the "canyon" runs, I thought it was good to see something abit different and it worked.
My main complaint is that the game is just too short and easy, it only took around 9-10 hours to complete which compared to Most Wanted was a major let down and there's only 3 main bosses to beat and then that's it (on single player campaign). I didn't like the "autosculpt" feature, but that again could just be me.
Basically I much, much prefered Most Wanted and really can't understand why Carbon has such fantastic reviews, I honestly think it's an average racer which may have been good 2 years ago but now that there's so many good titles out there, this just doesn't make the standard. I had high hopes but the game did't deliver.
